This particular pilot flew me almost 2 weeks ago, same plane, same leg, night flight. And that's exactly how it sounded then. The engine seemed to sound louder than the regular 737s I'm used to, even the take-off speed felt faster (I'm used to bigger planes). Smaller planes need less of everything.

She walked through the plane to get something and then headed back to the cockpit, about 30mins before we landed.

And yeah, it was a pretty good flight, good takeoff and a good landing (she knew her onions). Very little turbulence.

Plane isn't a car, you can't revve it up. Pilots are trained to keep calm in any situation so she wasn't using vex to take off, okay.

What the security operatives do with him afterwards is their prerogative. At least, the pilots would have done the right thing by being professional.

That's why I said the whole industry reeks of unprofessionalism.

Beside, I expect that the pilot's association should have waded into the matter by now bc an Injustice to one should be an Injustice to others otherwise more lunatics like K1 would do more than that another time!!!.

Wading into the pilot and KWAM1 suspension would require detail and thorough investigation report from an independent enquiry. But foremost, all the erring parties are rightly sanctioned pending the outcome of the investigation.

Like I said, the whole aviation industry reeks of unprofessionalism.

the Valuejet Embraer CRJ-900 that deboarded Kwam 1 for unruly behavior in Abuja on the 5th of August.

She's happily married to Captain Isaac Ogoyi who flies for Uganda Airlines.

She's a pilot of over 10 years. Captain Oluranti joined valuejet some years ago after flying for Arik for many years.

not a valid excuse. If the plane had one bad engine and she was asked to take off, will she go?

Well, I think we shouldn't tag her unprofessional outrightly for what she has been doing for years. aircrafts doesn't operate like cars hence she couldn't have moved without permission from ground control unit.The pilot must request and receive pushback and taxi clearance from Air Traffic Control..Tower Control gives takeoff clearance
– Even if at the runway, the pilot must wait for ATC to say:

> “Cleared for takeoff, Runway 27.”
I believe she wouldn't have moved without any clearance.

You better read to educate yourself.
