Delta State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has said the urgent need to rescue Nigeria from the shackles of economic challenges it is facing now informed the formation of the party.

National Chief Whip of the party, Mr. Festus Igbinoba, who spoke in Effurun, Uvwie local government area of Delta State, stating that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the All Progressive Congress, APC, have disappointed and failed Nigerians.

Receiving new members from different political parties, he said ADC has come to stay in the state.

“We are here today to officially unveil Delta State chapter of the ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections so as to rescue Nigeria from the shackles of economic challenges we are facing now.

“With ADC, Nigeria will be repositioned for a better future, because APC and PDP have failed Nigerians woefully,” he said.

The ADC national chief whip called on members of the party, including the newly received members, to go home and propagate the gospel of ADC from their various units.

The co-ordinator of ADC in Delta Central, Julius Efeni Akpovoka, while addressing newsmen immediately after the unveiling meeting, described it as a welcome development.

“We thank God for today’s meeting of the unveiling of ADC. l commend every member of different political parties who have come to identify with ADC, you are now an automatic member of ADC, you have to abide by the rules and regulations and respect the leadership of the party.

“ADC is the only opposition party in Delta and by the special grace of God, ADC will take over Delta state and the National level, because APC and PDP have disappointed us.

“We will continue to remain committed to ensure that the dream of repositioning Nigeria for better future will be guaranteed,” Akpovoka stated

These politicians are funny. You have come to rescue Nigerians from yourselves should be the right sentence to use. Because the last I checked, the people that constitute ADC are the same group of people that left either APC or PDP.


Nigerians politicians are all the same. Their mission is just to loot, enrich themselves and their families.
