This is scandalous, shameful and reprehensible, to say the least!

They, the so-called CHAIN EAGLES, sorry, CHAN EAGLES and the entire coaching crew are a bunch of efulefus not worthy to represent Nigeria anywhere in the world.

Don't mind them, I have said it here times without number that this country will not move forward until they give some people the die honour accrued to them..The Golden age of Nigerian football was when the Igbo was at the helm of affairs, tha was the likes of Emeka Omerau and co..Every one knows that, as afar as sports is concerned in this country, you can't take ita away from the Igbo, the tribes in the old southeast called Niger delta today and the old Midwestern states called delta and Edo states.

These are the home based Eagles that are always crying that they're not called up to join the national team. Majority of the team is comprised of the current champions Remo stars that dusted almost every team in the league yet they can't withstand other African teams. I want to see how they will perform at CAF champions league

Our local league is ZERO. The coach lumped Remo Star players for the tournament in the name of being the current local champions. When asked the reason, he pointed to how South Africa does so with their best club to represent their country.
OUR HOME BASED PLAYERS ARE A WRITE OFF. They can't even seize the opportunity when it matters.

Local team coaches, Daniel Ogunbodede, Fedelis Ilechuckwu who were appointed part of the Technical team were supposed to lead the CHAN team to the tournament. So why Eric Chelle?, does he know these home based players more than their coaches?

And it shows how poor our soccer is at local level and the weakness of our soccer leagues and this tallies with our performances on the continental club stage.

You can imagine that key players of Mamelodi Sundows, Orlando Pirates and co are not playing CHAN yet a country like South Africa is smoking other teams.

It was a painful, yet hilarious watch. The boys were just moving and passing the ball around in circles as in a circus show, with no meaning attempt on goal. It was just one shot on target.
The entire team is poor and outright terrible.
Not unexpectedly, after all no Nigerian club side is doing well continentally. The league is terrible, with poor club management every where.
Maybe we should avoid CHAN competition going forward. It was a disgraceful act
