I think you should go and read and understand where the OP is coming from, who said men don't assist their friends both male and female.

Op is talking about relationships and I can relate. I say hi to a lady and 24hours after she needs money from you.

Op is not talking about helping people generally.

Or are the women you speak about asking you out on a date? The man who asked for assistance to pay power bill was he asking you out, or were you just meeting the man?

My good friend i think you are missing the point that the op is trying to put across.
If i understand him correctly,i think he is referring to those group of ladies who see men as their meal tickets and general life problem solver. It's now a pandemic, you ask a lady out and next day it's her birthday, her rent is due, she is hungry or her "late father" is undergoing an emergency surgery🙆🏽‍♀️🙆🏽‍♀️🙆🏽‍♀️ and she needs help from you. My dear the list is endless. Even female neighbors, church sisters,or just any female friend are not left out. This is opposed to people who approached you for assistance which i understand is the angle you are coming from.
