Is your current job related with what you studied? if yes, then sometimes they won't ask for CV

Good day everyone,
Is it possible to obtain a part-time job in Germany from Nigeria in place of the blocked account/sponsorship option? If possible, can anyone please recommend sites or job boards where one can apply even if it's a long shot? I saw some something similar to this on Reddit India.. any pointers would be greatly appreciated. 13,000 Euros is a whole lot man!
Thanks.

I do not have a primary school cert (didn't do 6yrs), just a letter issued by my primary school. That is what I uploaded and I was not asked for anything else with regards to primary school.
ifrank:
Primary School Cert Help out: I have tried severally to reach out to primary education board, this subeb but failed(even their website number unreachable). I live far way from the place/state of my primary education those days(more than 15years ago). Any idea on the way forward:

1. Any useful experience on getting the primary school proof without traveling to the place/LGA?
2. Can anyone assist with a any primary board resource contact anywhere who may be able to link up?
3. Has any one successfully be accepted after preliminary review without primary school cert but with at least WAEC?

A week an half, but I'm not applying from Nigeria so there isn't a queue for me.

Need your help Hannania and any other person with the requisite knowledge.

A younger brother got the correction required as shown in the attached - based on University degree.

Problem is he attached the Anabin showing Bachelor of Science in Physics but his degree certificate is Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering. Do you think this is why its needing correction and if so what can be done?

Also just to put it in context. He doesnt even practice in the field he studied.

Do you think this can help. There's no need to focus a lot on the actual degree if he's totally pivoted. What do you think. Would be really grateful if you could respond as soon as possible.

Thanks

Hi Hannania or anyone who can help. If the name of your course isn’t showing fully in Anabin, how do you convince them it’s the same during review? Especially if they’ve given you a deadline to submit recognition of degree. Please it’s urgent.
I see you had the same issue.

What did you eventually do?

B.Tech in physics and Bsc in Physics are two different things. No one has formally done recognition for the former, while the latter has seen recognition sumbitions and that's why it's on Anabin.

The requirement as regards university education for the opportunity card is that your degree MUST be recognised. So if the proof is not on Anabin, you need to carry out the process of certificate of comparability for degrees(ZAB) or DAB(Vocational education)

The fact he's not practicing does not negate the fact that he has to provide a RECOGNISED degree to the embassy.

Based on recent happenings, they'll delete his application and ask him to re-apply again when he has the ZAB as proof.

So ask him to apply to ZAB(Cost €208 and lasts for 3 months) and be ready to wait another six months(A blessing to get B1 German)

Use Stepstone, Xing, indeed and Facebook groups. You have higher chances if you can speak A2 to B1 German

it's straightforward, do your DAB(Cost €150 and lasts for 2 months), then get your SL/BA and you automatically qualify as a skilled worker.

Also cant he email them on this. Btech in Physics and BSC are quite similar.

But how should he go about the ZAB thing. Can you run me through the process as I'm willing to help him fund it and do anything to fasttrack the process. 3 months is quite long. I just messaged him now and he confirmed that he has his student transcript. Do you think this can help with the process

Lastly, can he hold off on not responding till the ZAB thing comes through. Will they still delete his profile?

Germany is a meticulous nation. They have standards and stick to it. It's a nation of law and order lol. What's written on his degree is not recognised and that's it. A few persons were initially allowed, but they got clearing from the home office and now it's strictly adhered to that it must be exact on your degree certificate. They are NOT the same.

This is the link:
https://zab.kmk.org/de/zeugnisbewertung

You can't fast track it. Even here in Germany, they don't allow walk-in to their office. If they need another info or document from you, they'll send you an email.

Lastly, they'll automatically delete your application if you don't respond within their timeframe

Please guys my wife has a diploma in Community Health(College of Health Gboko), a bachelor in Public Health(University of Calabar(, Masters of Public Health Epidemiology(University of Calabar) and is currently working with an indigenous NGO in Nigeria as a Case Manager. Their NGO is into HIV/TB. She also have some clinical knowledge working in hospitals. I am also a computer science graduate(BSc)-Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Information Technology (MSc) from National Open University of Nigeria, though I don't have a tech skill, just learning cyber security now. I also work as an Immigration officer currently in Nigeria and have worked for over 18 years. I also have a tailoring skill.

What are our chances and where do we begin from for the opportunity card. We wanted to try the school route but someone advised we try this though he said she needs to write IELTS general for the work route.

Thanks, I have now paid for it and helped process the ZAB thing.

Also do you have any idea how long it'll take before they automatically delete his application. Is there a way to appeal by sending an email or response for this to be held off - with evidence of us initiating the ZAB request

I asked him not to respond yet. I am trying to see if he can hold off till the ZAB thing comes around. Of course I know this is unlikely but this would depend on your response to the question above

Also do you think he's better off starting a new application now since it may likely take close to the 3 months before he gets to the review stage?

About the learning German thing, Is it compulsory? He's in Finance and has finance certifications and fancy his chances at quickly getting a job due to his skills. Will the German thing be a show stopper? and Can you recommend any standardized and widely recognized places he could learn in Lagos? How intense is it? How long would he have to do it?

Draft a very formal letter indicating these:

1. You thought B.Tech will pass the recognition, because it's 5 years in Nigeria and B.Sc is 4 years.

2. You've initiated ZAB certification, but this takes 3 months

3. Considering the fact the waiting time is 6 months and you'll have to start again, you're requesting for a consideration of passage, or withholding of the application for 8 weeks while your ZAB arrives so you don't start all over again. This is because your have every other document(make sure your have SL or BA).

4. Attach the degree, SL/BA, ZAB proof of registration and payment, Anabin screenshots and the letter all as one document merged. Upload it under degree recognition and wait for their response. A miracle can happen. They love details

Finally Geothe institute is the best. Learning German in Germany cost 1000% more

Let me know how this goes

While that is on, just register with another email and be on the waitlist to be on a safer side, cos ZAB might end up telling you fast track can only be done for blue card holders which takes about 2 weeks. So in other for you not to loose on both ends register and join the waiting list again to beat the 3 months while waiting for the statement of comparability.

Really appreciate your help so far.

So once the formal letter is drafted, What e-mail should this response go to?

or is it as a response on the portal. Please guide me on how to go about this as a step by step once we have the letter.

Once again, I really appreciate your help and thoughtful responses so far. Thanks

Go through the thread, all these things are answered. You need 26, 000 euros(36m) to open two block accounts for you and your wife, or get a sponsorship letter. Public health is not on anabin, so she needs to do ZAB. Your computer science is recognised

HND automatically requires you to do ZAB, ZAB is €150 for HND. On the web site HND is processed under the vocational training section.
