That Nigeria will deprive you of your career growth... Things to be done in your twenties, you will start doing it and celebrate at late Thirties if not Forties

I wish I was in a relationship earlier in my 20s. Finding love in my 30s is quite a stressful thing.

I was too focused on making it that I forgot to live life.

Easier said than done. Suppose broke girl is the only girl you "love"?
I'm in my early 30's and a medical doctor and I wish I studied something else.
I wish I knew not to study something simply because it is prestigious and in vogue
You wish you didn't study medicine? Why? It's a good course abi

Feel free to prepare yourself and make that career switch you innately yearn for. Most time, we are our most obstinate hindrance there is.
Once there is a will, a way will always appear.

You will never be enough for the wrong person, and you wont have to prove your worth to the right one. People often show their true selves when they think you wont leave thus, pay attention to how they act when they're comfortable. Their actions tell you all you need to know✌️

I regret building on my father's land when I was working in the bank. He even discouraged me buying a land that a woman does not own land.

That women are not as kind , innocent and harmless as society made men believe , they are very manipulative and selfish...and also to invest very early in life , especially if u have the resources

Good day everyone.

Was having this thought today and decided to share.

What is one thing you wish you learnt earlier in life ?

For me , I wish I avoided women during my hustling days, would have made more progress in my life financially and otherwise.

One of the biggest mistakes I made in life was to date a parasitic girl during my hustling and struggling days.
I was a young graduate of 22 years earning 40k back then which was quite little but I had a girlfriend who was very demanding. She billed me to the point where I couldn’t even save a single penny , I really loved her then and would literally give in to all her demands even when it wasn’t convenient.

Last last she still cheated on me and got pregnant for another guy, the heart break really shattered and it took me two years to recover.

Currently I’m in my late twenties, got a very good job and earn very well and my advice to young men starting life is to be ruthlessly selfish. Be selfish with your time , resources and ambitions.
I wish I learnt that early in life , I would have walked away from that liability of a girl and focus on myself.

Avoid dating broke girls who add little to no value to your life, be more interested in your growth and development.
(If possible avoid relationships during your struggling days)

What’s is something you wish you learnt early?
Land banking

Religion itself it's control tool and can be destructive. Some Elders are very deceptive and the main source of problems and conflicts in the society. Crocodile tears is real👌

You don’t have passion for medicine?
What do you wish you studied?

You’re still young and can still make a career change.
Passion pushed me into it and from my 26years I began the work, I think it's good I did. The smile on d faces of my patients makes me feel like a god. No be d money or reps.
No regrets whatsoever.

Wish I had an early knowledge and motivation to invest in Au. A gram as at 10 years ago was less than 15k. The money was there, but my investments were not feasible. If only I had started out on AU at that time, I would have been far up the ladder of the millionaire's club.

Today, it is 170k plus. Each time a lump sum is dolled out in this purchase, my head aches. Good investment, bad timing.
only a few would understand, even though its late to starting investing in Au, I have started a little by little even if its for my unborn generation

I wish I learnt a skill like plumbing, welding, mechanics, building and being a Handyman.
I got to UK 🇬🇧 ove 22 years ago and have an MBA.
My regret was not having a handiwork apart from my excellent certificates.
When I relocated, a fellow Nigerian, a welder without education was earning twice my hourly rate. The guy had no papers but they employed him because the couldn't find a welder.
Today, I do a bit if everything but not professionally.
I beg you to humble yourself and learn a handiwork.

Many;

Fornication & sexual immorality is evil

Friendship ties based on revelling is evil

Not doing any business or learning a skill after grad instead did teaching. It was a time waster
