Don't come and start telling pple to avoid relationships as a young struggling guys bcus urs failed miserably.

The reason ur ex was billing u helplessly even when you were earning really low income was bcus you think you don't deserve love , your ex also knows this and finished u with senseless billing too. look I've dated girls that before I even give them money i would have to beg them first bcus they wouldn't accept it at all, that's how much they loved me, even to the extent of buying gifts and giving me their money, yes. and all this happened while I was still broke and struggling but I didn't let that define my reality nor my perspective about what love is about , I knew I was worth it anyways and I attracted all that good good love.

You might be lucky dating broke girls, but some might be unlucky. Even though you know your worth, some broke girls will still overbill you. That's fact.

How I wish I had Quranic knowledge at my earlier stage, though, I got it at late 40's, I still thank God.

I really wish I walked closely with God by personally studying and following precept by precept God's divine inspired Word and fasting and praying more. I am now 48 by the grace of God and I have discovered that this is my main error. Not that I was not close to God but I would have been far far more closer. Cheers and blessings...

Easier said than done. Suppose broke girl is the only girl you "love"?
I'm in my early 30's and a medical doctor and I wish I studied something else.
I wish I knew not to study something simply because it is prestigious and in vogue
Early thirties?

Young man, you have enough time to change to what you prefer.

Why do some of our men have this belief that a lady who isn't broke won't be demanding or bill you?

Being a demanding or billing babe has nothing to do with a woman's financial status. Women are generally billiers. I classify them as an expense.

The thing is men are now setting standards for themselves just like women. It is very good. Women in their teens will all tell you they wanna marry a rich man. It is with time and after experiencing harsh reality they begin to lower the bar. I know most women bill, but there are some kind of billings I hate to entertain. Billings like airtime, sanitary pads, food e.tc. An adult female should be able to cater for such personal bills else she is not worthy to be in a relationship.

Wish I studied something I'd travel around the world and have a lot of fun. That's my passion.
Make a career change out of Medicine? Easier said than done
You must be brilliant to study medicine successfully.

Take a course in tech and you will pass in flying colors.

It's actually good men are setting standards. After the reign of online feminazism and a harsh economy, men are demanding more than just being a "woman". Whether this online rhetoric applies in real life, I don't know.

Sure, an adult female, just like every adult, should be able to cater for the basics of life's necessities. However, women still bill. It's innate in them.

If I may ask, when did this feminism become popular in Nigerian social media? I guess it's recently.

I wish l never heard of forex trading, last 6yrs of hustling all gone down the drain. In my delusional state, l kept hoping that l would make money from trading the forex market, the more l gets obsess with trading to recover lost money, the more losses l records. At 45yr, got nothing to show for. I look back and l say to myself that l have wasted 45yrs of my life and how many years do l have to spend on earth? I curse the day l heard about forex trading. Who will deliver me from the destructive path l found myself?

post=136460957]Good day everyone.

Was having this thought today and decided to share.

What is one thing you wish you learnt earlier in life ?

For me , I wish I avoided women during my hustling days, would have made more progress in my life financially and otherwise.

One of the biggest mistakes I made in life was to date a parasitic girl during my hustling and struggling days.
I was a young graduate of 22 years earning 40k back then which was quite little but I had a girlfriend who was very demanding. She billed me to the point where I couldn’t even save a single penny , I really loved her then and would literally give in to all her demands even when it wasn’t convenient.

Last last she still cheated on me and got pregnant for another guy, the heart break really shattered and it took me two years to recover.

Currently I’m in my late twenties, got a very good job and earn very well and my advice to young men starting life is to be ruthlessly selfish. Be selfish with your time , resources and ambitions.
I wish I learnt that early in life , I would have walked away from that liability of a girl and focus on myself.

Avoid dating broke girls who add little to no value to your life, be more interested in your growth and development.
(If possible avoid relationships during your struggling days)

What’s is something you wish you learnt early?[/quote]

only a few would understand, even though its late to starting investing in Au, I have started a little by little even if its for my unborn generation
Exactly. The possibility of your initial investment doubling in a 18 months is high. Better late than never.

Please make sure to buy from legit vendors only. Ditch 18 karat also, it may be cheap, but if you're buying as a form of investment, it's best to buy from 21 karat or 24 karat (Au bars only)

If I may ask, when did this feminism become popular in Nigerian social media? I guess it's recently.
Online feminism kicked off from our women based abroad. For those in Nigeria, it kicked off starting from 2015 and skyrockted in the years leading to COVID. Let's just say it grew alongside social media popularity and smartphones penetration.

I'm focused on the online aspect as the offline aspect is very old.

Failure is part of success if you don't give up on life.
You should evaluate your risk level if you are overambitious and overreaching yourself unrealistically in your trades.
You don't trade forex or crypto as if your life depends on it.
Take it easy and don't be too hard on yourself.
Those trading in crypto will tell you how they bled with Trump Coin earlier in the year.
