Peter lies with passion and without verifiable data.

When the likes of Okonjo talk, you certain they have data and statistics to back it up.

Peter just thinks about anything irrespective of whether it’s true or not, and says it out.

The world knows His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) his retracing the steps of Nigeria and steering Nigeria to greater heights, but hate can’t make them applaud.

Ebilokan retracing the steps of Nigeria as he is doing in Lagos for 26 years of making it a glorified ghetto without pipe borne water.

.
The federal government is not responsible for water supply in cities and towns. This is the responsibility of states.

The Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources in Lagos State, Mahmood Adegbite, has said that people drilling borehole in the Lekki axis of the state is probably drinking ‘’shit water.”

While speaking at a stakeholders meeting in the state recently, Adegbite noted that contaminated boreholes in Lekki pose health risk and added that treatment of waste water would eradicate any form of disease that may arise from it.

He said, “On waste water treatment, I will say that everyone digging borehole within the Lekki axis is probably drinking what I will call ‘shit water.’

Mr poster, please tell me......what's the reality on ground

Stop deceiving yourself
you people are very shallow in your thinking. When Tinubu started his reforms you and your master obi were pointing to Argentina as an example of what Nigeria should be doing. can you give us and update on Argentina because you people have been very quiet on Argentina?

The reality on the ground is that there has been a one time adjustment to reality. Inflation and the exchange rate have stabilized and we have stopped living a lie.

The reality is people are hungry and others are laughing all the way to the bank. I was talking to a gardener he has many homes he tenders, he told me he does 2-3 compounds in a day...he makes N500k a month. Some people will always be hungry but in this same country some people are making money. If a gardener earns 500k a month you have no buisness as a graduate earning N200K. the problem is you. Peller was given a bill of N35m in taxes, he didnt go to school. if you want to work in Nigeria you will make money, if you dont want to work, you probably were probably already hungry even before TInubu became president.

Do you consider Wale Edun to be an expert on the economy huh

thisweekng:
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.

He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.

He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth.

“But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty.

“If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.”

Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC

January 19, 2015

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.

On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.

But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.

It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.

Unfortunately, whatever stats that show Nigeria's economy has turned the corner will NEVER be believed until the cost of living, goods & services are brought down to a reasonable level & purchasing power of majority of Nigerians greatly improved.

And that's why even though I believe PBAT should've a second term, I find it difficult to understand how he will successfully sell himself to Nigerian voters when he goes before them to campaign for re-election.

we are paying for the false prosperity of jonathan. what you thought was prosperity was what they call giving a man a fish instead of teaching him how to fish. tell me what infrastructure GEJ built in this period of prosperity?

Infrastructure creates jobs. it attracts investments and companies, companies employ people. if someone gave you money toeat or easy life but did not create the infrastrucutre that will create companies that will employ you, is that really your friend?

Say what you may about Buhari but nobody is spending 12 hrs driving from lagos to ibadan and that road will be there for decades, same with rail, 2nd niger bridge etc etc etc.

May Day: Hunger, unemployment, insecurity real— Tinubu

According to him: “The theme demands our collective attention and serves as a stark reminder of the need to create an environment where every worker feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation. As your President, I assure you that this administration is committed to creating such an environment for the common good.”

On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe.

Tinubu said: “I am aware of the peculiarities of the economic hardship Nigerians face—rising living costs, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, and the loss of livelihoods. These challenges are real and demand definitive solutions, which I am poised to address as your President.

Do you know what MORE means?

If there was false prosperity under Jonathan then why is ebilokan and his APC predecessor taking more loans despite saving $84 billion now from subsidy removal and trillions in 2016 when they removed the same subsidy?

Do you use pictures of infrastructure to pay for things huh

gabydaniels:
The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has disclosed that the federal government has so far saved the sum of N1.4 trillion for not paying oil subsidy.

He also assured Nigerians that very soon, the foreign exchange market would stabilise going by some radical policies already introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The vice president who spoke in Kano yesterday during the third day of the 15th Joint Planning Board and National Council on Development meeting, urged Nigerians to restore confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, insisting that soonest, the current economic problems would become a thing of the past.

“With the deregulation of the downstream petroleum sector, there has been a significant increase in the availability of petrol throughout the country for the savings of N1.4 trillion on subsidy payments alone,” he said.
