"Homeless individuals will be given the option to leave their encampment, to be taken to a homeless shelter, to be offered addiction or mental health services," Leavitt said during a press briefing, when asked by NPR about the expanding crackdown. "If they refuse, they will be subjected to fines or jail time."

Now they don't know how to report because they haven't been given their talking points yet, tomorrow it'll be the best most powerful meeting ever had and Trump beat Putin in hand to hand combat

Mind you this political party ALWAYS votes against any measures to actually help homeless individuals. They defund mental health programs. Vote against improved veterans healthcare benefits all the while claiming they are for the veterans.

This is just an excuse to funnel people to jail where they become free/cheap labor under the 13th Amendment and enrich the pockets of for-profit prisons. They are offering the chance of treatment publicly because they know it won't actually be available since they’ve effectively cut funding to these programs. This way, they can say to the public they were justified in arresting these people.

But you can't play with some self-imposed rules while the refs aren't calling any fouls/cheating on the other side.

Look at the FBI. Bush appoints Republican Comey, Obama keeps him.
Trump fires him and appoints Republican Wray.
Biden keeps Wray.
Trump fires Wray and appoints Republican Kash Patel.
Dems keep Republican FBI directors afraid to look political while Republicans appoint Republican FBI directors (Trump even firing the one he hired).
