Someone will say he's speaking with poverty mentality and Jesus wasn't poor....yen yen yen!

Nigerian pastors are the richest in the world!

But none of their congregation is the richest like Dangote!

If Jesus condemned religious titles among his own followers {Matthew 23:8-10} that's to say whoever is recognized outside the congregation with a title having to do with religion is not a Christian! undecided

That's the result of the so-called "prosperity" gospel for you.

Enriching a few while impoverishing many.

It's actually the "poverty" gospel by the results.

Let’s hold our government accountable and let’s leave the church and promises of pastors. Most men of God are profiting from the side effects of poverty and the mentality of prosperity in the country

Nigerian pastors hustle differently. Their churches can wait so that they can fill up their deep pockets with filthy lucre.

Could it be because the Nigerian richest churches are owned by a single individual while no single individual owns the Roman Catholic?

95% of Nigerian Pentecostal churches are purely business
designed. There's no two ways about that.

That's why I laugh at people that are desperately seeking for miracle and breakthrough forgetting every man has his own appointed time.

These pastors indulge in a very terrible practice,
The congregation contributes to erect buildings for the church, then when the building is done, the branch churches still sends the weekly offering, tithes to headquarters meanwhile the headquarters didn't invest a dime to build that same church branch....

Nigerians would wake up soon...

Was this statement made out of emprical research? While the rich pastors may be true, the wealth of the chuches may be deeply investigated before conclusion is reached.

To me, one the richest churches in the world is the Living Faith Church in Nigeria.

The exchange rate of the Naira regardless.
Re: Nigerian Pastors Among World Richest, But No Nigerian Church Listed - Omolehin by Tohsynetita1(m):
Everything in Nigeria is always different.
Pastor go tell you not to steal but him go dey steal , if you accuse him, his member will say you should not because he’s a man of God. “ Have you forgotten thou shall not steal?’’
A pastor told members to pay transportation fares to heaven some years ago and gullible members paid about 300k each. If you talk against that, they will attack you.
It’s in Nigeria a pastor will get to a queue and use the sentence “I am a pastor “ to make himself to avoid the long queue. Have you forgotten “ I will honor whom I will honor and compassion on whom I will have compassion on?”
Traffic officials will stop to check pastor’s vehicle but he will repeat “ i am a pastor “
How does being a pastor stops me to do my job?
That should not concern me with my own job.
It’s in Nigeria a pastor will be selling a lion “ as lion of tribe of Judah” Is it a must you sell always? What happened to “No weapon formed against me shall prosper “ , “ I shall not die but live and declare the word of God”
Did disciples of Jesus Christ sell before doing miracles?
Why can’t you pray for them and they will be secured of any affliction and accident?
It is in Nigeria a Pastor will pick his phone and call God. When does God have mobile service network?
It’s prayer you use to communicate with God not phone.
It’s in Nigeria a pastor will mandate members to pay a particular money by laying a curse on it if they did not pay. What happened to “the lord shall supply your needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus “

It is Nigeria Pastor will be telling you that it’s easy to be sinner while you are rich than while you are poor.
Stressing that rich can easily get money for olosho in Dubai but poor can’t. So, their are no less charge prostitute, or is prostitution the only sin we have. You can even commit sin in your heart if you are poor till the extent that you don’t have anything in your life.

It is in Nigeria they will tell you when world will come to an end , even when the right hand man of creator said he doesn’t know. So, na you come know, How?

It’s in Nigeria that a Pastor will be telling you that God hates the poor. But the Lazarus was poor in the Bible, yet he made heaven.

It’s in Nigeria Pastor will be telling you that because Job doesn’t pay tithe, that’s why he had the lot of challenges he had. But was in the Bible that it was God that allows satan to try him.

It’s in Nigeria that Pastor will be telling members that “Adam and Eve was sent out of the Eden because they didn’t pay tithe “ But concept of tithing started on Cain and Abel.

It is in Nigeria, preachers will meet you on transit, preached and prayed for passengers, only for them to collect offerings after that. Does winning soul has connection with collecting money from won souls?

The list goes on, majority of Churches in Nigeria were established because of “ unemployment “

Christianity and soul winning should not be about having a church only, their are several offices of the it, Some are Evangelist, Apostle, Prophet, etc. Why is it that it’s those one that is cash inclined that most are into?

Why aren’t they going to Evangelism? Probably they knew An Evangelist doesn’t have a church, they build church, leave a pastor to lead and go after other lost souls.
How many people can leave all their families, properties and move into remote villages to go and be preaching and living there without being paid.

It’s well.

I wonder if money wasn't involved in this church thing wether it would have been a thing of interest to so many people

Nowadays in Nigeria, every building has a church own by jobless people and people who think they can't serve under the leadership of another pastor.

Could church really strive if money wasn't involved?

The only thing you must respect about Nigerian pastors is that their followers are happy to give them even their last dimes without any cogent reasons. grin grin grin They managed to make "giving" an addiction worse than alcohol or cigarettes grin

This is the stage where we're in the ministry...most of the churches around are not Jesus church again..but pastor lagbajas church... People are no longer preaching what is written in the Bible rather, they are what their pastor said... Their pastors word control their life like zombies... When u see way the followers take the word of their pastor and not the word of the Bible itself, u will realize Hypnotism and sorcery is now the usual practice in church
