Findings further revealed that firstborn children are most affected by paternity discrepancies, with firstborn sons accounting for 64 per cent of negative results.Because the men were proposed with pregnancy. A woman told you she's pregnant and you are rushing to marrying her. Inasmuch I don't support fornication, my advice to any man that wants to marry a woman who says she's pregnant is to wait till she gives birth before you think about marriage. As for me, I will marry a virgin woman. |

The percentage will continue to grow high since guys nowadays don't have mentors. All they do is to glue around their phones. They think all they need to have a woman is money. No wisdom or a single knowledge about life, just money and their counterpart gender sees this and starts using it against them. Imagine a guy will come out and wife a woman with a sex tape everywhere and say her past is already past. You expected a woman with over 75 body counts to be a faithful wife? |

And these are the few that can afford the luxury of being tested oo. Imagine the number of men raising their neighbours sons as theirs without knowing or even suspecting..., while one entitled lady sits by the corner smiling at you.. It is one thing to cheat. It is a totally different ball game to willingly conceive for another man while married to a different person. I think there should be a place in the law books that sends women who force their husbands to raise another man's child unknowingly to jail for atleast 25 SOLID years.. Enough already.. |

Well, that's not surprising. Anyone who goes to do a paternity test already has suspicions. That means 25% isn't necessarily a bad number. It doesn't mean this prevalence of false paternity will hold in the general population without concerns |

This is 25% of those that already have doubt about the paternity of their child, NOT 25% of the entire birth |

Teachme148:Remember it is 25% of those that question the paternity of their child. A times it also make sense to publish the total. 25% of 700 people that question the paternity of their ward is not as alarming as 25% of 1.5m people that questioned the paternity of their wards. This is telling both ways: that such a huge number are suspicious and that such a huge number are unfaithful |

dettolgel:I guess you don't understand what they meant by using percentage. That's one in every four paternity tests being carried out, it doesn't matter if 700 or 10 million tests are done |
