See this WICKED CRUELTY

In saner clime you'd receive and deserve long prison sentence.
It made my blood boil to read this nonsense.
How can people be this HEARTLESS??
I just don't get it
Honestly it's animal cruelty. She can do the same to human being also, what a devilish woman.

We had a similar experience of such in my Area, goat will be climbing people's car in the night nacking and spoiling cars paint, we complained to the owners but they show deaf ear. We decided to set a trap that caught a pregnant goat and took it to police station to our excitement the police officers were so happy and encouraged us to bring more. I believed the will surely be eaten by the receiver.

GOAT is not like dog thot can learn. They don’t have that sense to know you don’t want them there. Hunger and instinct will bring them back.
They learn but they don't listen not take heed from past experiences.

Those Goats will come back for sure.

I just dey laugh you. West African goats 🐐,wey stubborn pass Wike. They will come back, this time in their numbers.
Buy rope and pay some boys to catch them for you. The owners will have to pay before you release it to them.
Safarifarms this is the best advise.

You went too far. You could have used cold water. They hate anything water. The fact that u said u bathed one of the goats that's pregnant hot water is a real bad omen for u. Pray non of ur family members is pregnant at this moment or else she may hv miscarriage or die from birth stress. This is no joke. Watch your back. Some goats are spiritual
I just remember some years back in Ajaokuta when goats use to disturb. There's a certain man that always amputate any goat that strays into his farm/garden.

Years later when his wife gave birth, guess what? She gave birth to a child without both limbs.

I rear goats and to the best of my knowledge the ones that survived the attack will still come back unless the owner restrains them. Goats are naturally stubborn. They'll run when you attack but will still come back hoping you are not around. If they see you they'll run away.
Yes, West African dwarf goats have a strong independent streak and can be headstrong when following commands.

I and my siblings used to catch them and flog the living daylights out of them including other males that came to disturb our female goats back then 😅🤣
Na then I know say goat stubborn . Cause they always came back within 3 days max .

Your best bet is to catch them till their owner comes to bail them out like someone suggested
better mending grin. Oyibo will call it animal hostility.

I remember back in the days when we were kids, my dad had this same issue with our neighbours goats carrying out Armageddon on our farm. One day he had it up to his neck, then we caught the goat, he used hammer to break their hoves and got them crippled. He then went ahead to dump it somewhere the owner will hear it bleating and come for it. That was the end of the goat disturbance but I sincerely felt for those goats that day.

I don't think that was the best solution to ward off the goats. I feel that anyone who attacks an animal can do that to a human being too. It would have been better to report them to environmental sanitation agents.

Madam na you Biko... See me laughing at this your ordeal and how your husband was sleeping, I laughed with tears running down as I remembered the day my husband chased these sheep until he fell yakata on the soak away slabs and injured himself, the Igbo saying " ochu nwa okuko nwe ada, nwa okuko new nwenwe oso".
After that incident, we planted flowers that kill them the moment they eat those flowers. That's how we got rid of them.

Leave that one, in US, your animals should stay on your property, failure to do so means you'll lose your license to own any animal, the animal in question can be shot and killed for trespassing on someone's property, you as the owner of the animal can be fined and jailed for animal neglect and maltreatment, you can even be evicted from the house, cause all this commotion brings trouble for the landlord because of the cops constant visit. They are some office and position you can't enter, just because your goat or chicken mess up someone's garden. Everything will be recorded for you on your profile.

She's devilish right, I guess you know nothing about farming. Get a small piece of land, invest like 200k - 500k on seedlings of different crops, spend money to weed, apply pesticide, and fertilizer, wait for months for the crops to come up, then someone will let their animals loose to destroy it, I bet you, you'll do worst.

This is wickedness. I was hoping the story will end differently.

How can you allow all of them escape instead of butchering one and inviting us for Asun feast.
Re: How I Dealt With Goats That Invaded My Garden by Dbeautyy(m): 2:33pm On Aug 17, 2025
To those condemning what the woman ( farmer) did. What those animals did is in no way different from what those Wicked terrorists and herdsmen are doing to the farm produce of our farmers yet the power that be chose to look away but when the farmers act they will come for the farmers. If you want to keep a free range system of rearing animals, do that within you compound let them roam there. But once they go to people's farm, you should be held responsible or fined. We can't be complaining of high cost of food this time and goats from the abyss will still be destroying ones effort. It is not fair undecided

Goats are not only stubborn but they are also very foolish. No wonder God puts them on his left side and sheep on his right.

I guess you are trying to revert to the op. I don't have goat issues. I rear goats myself though under intensive system so that they are not nuisance to others. But I won't really want to consider catching someone's goats as you may be labeled a thief. I would rather plant trees that they'll eat and die at the borders of the farm or apply pesticides that will kill them. When they keep dying, the owner will know that its not safe for them to be roaming about. If the OPs hot water can scorch them well, the owner will learn.

You said it all. I don't get these people. Is it that think goats don't feel pain or what - same way slave traders believed blacks didn't feel pain!

na you actually dey heartless. Sorry I had to say this.

Goats should not be allowed to roam the streets. They will disturb the hell outa the neighbourhood. The owners are to be blamed. Just pray you don't experience goats disturbance around you, you go cry.

Who is this attention seeker?

God make you have sense, every time saner climes. Is that how goats destroy people's gardens in saner climes?

The owners that left the animals to invade people's farms and destroy their crops are the saints abi? You didn't hear their response when they went to report?

Ganjafama:
Suffereth not a witch ( night destroyer) to live. Goat no enter person farm for day time, instead na night. This shows they knew they were doing wrong.
otipoju:
Animals don't go roaming around destroying people's property in saner climes. The owners restrain them to their own premises otherwise they risk going to jail if those animals injure anyone and paying for damages to the property of others after they are arrested.

The roaming goats themselves will have been picked up and taken away by animal services long before they could wreck more havoc on other people's property.
ISellBeer:
Same saner clime that used black children as baits for Crocs
Same saner clime that will feed their animals with black people
Same saner clime that dehumanised blacks

They now want you to see them as good people by caring for animals.

No p
Caaz:
Oga keep yours let them destroy and ravage yours,my Greens were not spared
My yam leaflets were also not spared.
Therefore you mix hot water with pepper and pour it on the poor innocent animals!!!
Do you people realize you could easily have been a goat or any animal? All it takes is for your essence to be put into that animal's body instead of into human body. Pray you don't come back as a lower animal and have this happen to you!
