I was able to amass over $100k from crypto/web3 (trust me not fraudulently) since 2021 till date, although it could have been more but no one is perfect. We know crypto crypto/web3 have different trends(uptrend and downtrends), which i believe we are threading towards a downtrend. And i want to diversify some of this funds into something IRL. Now i am undecided if i should Japa or start a business here in Nigeria with the money. My fear for the japa is that go there and start doing menial jobs that i wouldnt even do in Nigeria. And for the business, i currently don’t have idea of what to start |

pvirus:Japa ke? This is a seed money ohh.. Most tech start up needs funding, they even go as far as offering up to 50% equity if the business idea is good just because they need fundings.. Imagine funding a start up now, and in two years time, it rakes in almost 20% to 30% of what you invested now...that's what the Silent billionaires do...they fund someone else's ambition, takes an equity and that person and your money works more money for you.. If you need more advise, maybe we can talk |

pvirus:I feel you. You’ve hustled hard, made some serious gains from crypto, and now you’re standing at this crossroads with $100k in your pocket. That’s no small feat — seriously respect that. It’s totally natural to feel torn between two big moves: leaving for greener pastures or planting your flag at home and building something real. Both paths come with their own kind of risk and reward. About Japa: Your worry about ending up doing menial jobs is real and valid. Nobody wants to start all over grinding in roles beneath their skill or ambition. But maybe there’s a middle ground — instead of jumping straight into random jobs, what about aiming for places or visa programs that recognize your skills and experience? Maybe freelancing or remote work in crypto/blockchain could keep you afloat and respected while you settle in. It’s about playing it smart, not just jumping blindly. About Starting a Business in Nigeria: Not having a clear business idea right now is okay. Most successful businesses start from small, imperfect ideas that grow over time. Maybe you start with something simple, solving everyday problems you see around you — logistics, food delivery, agri-tech, even education or digital finance. Nigeria’s market is huge and hungry for innovation. You deserve a life where you feel respected, challenged, and rewarded — whether that’s abroad or at home. If you go abroad, aim to go where you can grow into your potential, not just survive. If you stay, start small, test ideas, and remember it’s okay to pivot. You’ve proven you can grow something valuable. Now it’s about choosing the path that feels right for you — not just the easiest or the most talked-about. |

pvirus:Starting a business is okay but look into long term business. Look into business that you will not really spend money on power supply. Because power supply is a huge factor wrecking Nigeria businesses. So, examples are farming, land banking. You can buy like 100 acres of land and plant cash crops there. Oil palm, rubber, cocoa, shea butter, coconut, pawpaw, kolanut. Etc. if you do this. In the next 3 years, those crops would have matured. Then you started producing and supplying export companies. This business can last for next 50 years. |

Hamachi:Thank you. But it’s not as easy as it seems to go abroad and hustle for jobs in crypto/blockchain as i am just a trader not a developer or someone big(influencer). Asides, menial jobs, processing your visa there is quite pricey( like over $20k needed) and i have read some stories of people that regret this |

pvirus:Japa and start working your ass off from the scratch in a one foreign country like that with not so friendly weather and people, when you can invest just a very very very tiny fraction of that money here and live like a King for the rest of your life Come on bro, with just 10 million from that money or even less sef, you can open a very big Bet9ja center in a very good location in any city of your choice. Then, love-vendor up the center very well. Go for Solar Power not Generator. Make the place very comfortable and attractive, by adding good Cable Tv so boys will be coming over to watch Live matches free. Then also make charging of phones free of charge, so it will further attract boys. In general, just package and manage the place very well. Then, trust me bro, you will never go hungry in this life again. I can help you to set up and run such a place bro, if you're interested! Shalom. |
