The government need to do something about this DNA price . It is very urgent. A lot of happening to men in Nigeria. More reason many re dying silently . DNA must be made compulsory upon delivery of new baby . This will serve as deterrent.

You don't even know what youre liking. Its your opinion though. Obafemi Awolowo University Teachin Hospital has no single functional dialysis machine. We're working with JICA to donate 2 to them as we speak. This is a hospital that is supposed to have a minimum of 10 units. Is it not where dialysis is in existence that you'd slash the bill? It's same scenario in all federal hospitals nationwide. A few hospitals that had dialysis machines were at the mercy of donors like His Love Foundation owned by baba adeboye and his wife and international organisations like JICA.

Propaganda doesn't make a nation. It mars her. The news would have made sense had he said, he's delivery a number of dialysis machines to federal hospitals. He's never done any meaningful thing in the health sector since he became president.

Let’s have the multiplier effect in the private hospitals. Dialysis is free in most hospitals in Europe, USA and Canada.

That’s a good move in the health sector. Such things like this make people have peace of mind. Hopefully those who run the hospitals will not sabotage it.

This is a good idea but nothing is actually free and if it is free, it won't be sustainable. I am not supporting any government but just trying to be objective.

In the UK,dialysis is free for patients that need it but about 100% of the population there is under NHS. That means that the population have contributed in order to make it free.
Even in India, dialysis is about 2000 to 4000 rupees that is about 40k to 80k. In Germany, minimum price is 500 dollars based on conversion.

Truly, not many people have kidney problems but if you have seen just 1 person and you have details of the cost and stress involved then believe me when I say it can turn a millionaire to a pauper without good interventions. I have worked in Nephrology unit in Sokoto so I know what I am saying.
