Why did I hit her, I will not ordinarily strike a woman how much more my wife, but I did it to draw a line, if that is what she had seen happen in her parents house where her mother will slap her dad and get away with it, it will not happen in my own home. Now what if she had called her dad who was then a recently retired security oga at the top, he may have reacted as this girls father did, and knowing me, it would have been the end of that marriage.
Did the girls family hear the guys part of the story? What if she acted like that tonto lady by smashing tvs or distroying property and the guy a slapped her to reset her brain draw a red line?
Anyway, from experience, such lady if she does not find a new husband will blame her parents for a failed marriage. When she is lonely, she will blame her father for destroying her marriage, she will say she was young and did not have experience, that her parents should have known better.
Now, don't misunderstand me, I am not saying a wife beater should be tolerated, what I am saying is that it should be observed for some time, if it is recurrent abuse then action should be taken, but not few weeks after marriage when the couple are still adjusting to living together.

Nothing is wrong with filing for divorce but the parents should endeavour to return anything returnable including the dowry to the estranged husband with short fuse, and also the husband should raise farm animals and learn animal husbandry because attitudes of some opposite sexes are similitude to,so that some form of simulations,before going into another.....knowing quite well proper upbringings are rarer.......,Well goodness.

This comment tells us you’re an elderly person. Your wife struck you and you struck her back. It’s called tit for tat. It never happened again. The situation here is simple. The husband struck her.
