Lol, affiliate marketing didn’t die o, it only outgrew the people who were looking for “magas.” It’s still a multi-billion dollar industry worldwide — Amazon, Jumia, Booking.com all run it. If it was about duping, big companies wouldn’t be investing in it.

So maybe it’s not that affiliate marketing died… maybe it’s just that some people never really understood it in the first place. 😉

A NIGERIAN WILL NEVER GIVE YOU GENUINE UPDATE on how to make money, I was born and raised in Nigeria so nothing wey anybody wan tell me. They only open up when they have something to benefit. As a matter of fact I have traveled to 29states in Nigeria so I always speak from what I have seen/experienced.

Majority of Nigerians will NEVER tell you how to make money if they won't benefit more after revealing the secret.......The only people they'll give update are their family members.

Not entirely true bro. I understand where you’re coming from because a lot of Nigerians have that “if I teach you, you’ll pass me” mentality. But let’s be real—things are changing. Knowledge is no longer locked up like before.

The internet, online trainings, YouTube, mentorship programs and even platforms like this same Nairaland have made it easy to learn almost anything if you’re serious.

Yes, some people hoard knowledge, but many others are openly sharing because they know collaboration pays more than selfishness. If your friend spent 8 years learning welding, it’s either his boss was wicked or he wasn’t intentional about finding better options. Today, nobody really has that excuse again.

At the end of the day, Nigerians are not naturally wicked—some people are just selfish, same way you’ll find selfish people in any country.

Bros calm down 😅. Not everybody teaching online is a scammer — some actually dey run legit business and still share value. The fact say one “YouTube guru” dey misbehave no mean every other trainer na fraudster.

And about ChatGPT lesson, lol… if person no sabi even use AI in 2025, him already dey behind. The real difference no be whether na ChatGPT or not, na if the person show you how to turn am into money.
