Nigeria U20 star Chukwu Emmanuel has joined Austrian Bundesliga side Wolfsberger AC on loan from TSG Hoffenheim, continuing his development in Austria’s top flight.

Good move and opportunity to play in the UEFA Conference League. Far better than playing in Hoffenheim’s youth team

Starting from scratch will never work sha. I secretly hope for a parallel league for private clubs that'd sooner or later rival it.

It's not even about glamour. Just an appeal for professionalism and progress.
To me that's the ONLY way this league can triumph exponentially. This snail moves can't get us anywhere in 5years. This league will improve if the foundation is laid new and with better reinforced steel and concrete not these mud walls with village roof.

🇳🇬 The agreement between AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen is indeed for a loan with a €30M purchase option plus €5M in bonuses. This option becomes mandatory based on the number of starts Victor Boniface makes and his performances in Serie A this season.. The agent now in Milan to finalize the last details of the player’s deal.

Bony and Chukwueze at Milan. Serie A TV just got more interesting for me.

🔴⚫️ Victor Boniface’s agent, on his way to Italy today for talks with AC Milan.

Club to club agreement done for initial loan move with €30m buy option clause from Leverkusen.

Potentially Fine move. One of our top lads at the U20 Afcon. Solid CB talent. I hope he get enough games alongside Starter, Chibuike Nwaiwu in the Wolfsberger Defence.

Have you noticed that our u20 team is packed full of defensive talent.
From 2 years ago up till nonw.
Their lackadaisical style of play deserves criticism but they make up for it with good defence and goal keeping.
Also the 15 year old goal keeping prodigy.
If that team goes far defence will be part of the reason.

Maybe a law shld be introduced den to protect both the player and club interest …maybe d player pays d club some amount of money b4 he/she can terminate d contract…just make a law to make everyone happy
Yeah according to new FIFA rules that is possible but he will have to pay heavy compensation to Newcastle, almost like a transfer fee. Also the EPL might ban him for breach of contract without just cause.

When a player has given so much value to a club and he feels he wants more what’s the sin in that? Just like the club it’s also legal for the player to move on. I don’t see how they are on the wrong side legally especially when there are offers on the table, is that not business too? A player is already worth more than what you’re offering currently and if you insist on keeping the player and he starts depreciating in value with you then what has the club gain?
He signed a contract bruh.

It’s not only players that have to make money. Clubs too have to make money. Clubs sign prospects to either win trophies (money) or sell at higher prices (money).

Frustrating players who want to leave on their own terms serves as a deterrent so that the behavior will not become common. That’s how it works.

NFF, CAF and FIFA will not tolerate a private league. They will sanction and ban everyone involved in it.

Try this kind of thing then you’ll understand how the Football system is a brutal monopoly.

🚨❤️🖤 Victor Boniface to AC Milan, here we go! Verbal agreement between all parties for the Nigerian striker.

€5m loan fee, €24m buy option clause not mandatory and contract until 2030 also done.

Next step; medical tests ahead of signing all contracts. 🇳🇬

They should end this NPFL and start from scratch all over. Restore factory settings, especially in the rules and legal aspects and improve every defect then bring new clubs to start the new division. Let billionaires in Nigeria buy clubs or start clubs and we kick off from there. Clubs that have financial deficits should getat, or liquidate them or whatever. Have a 5year plan as well.
Well you should start by buying one of the clubs with your billions and others here would follow suite.

So they can liquidate your club one day and you’ll getat back to the hole you crawled out from.

You think billionaire became billionaires by investing in stupid business with no short term or long term profit.

How much is money from first place. How much revenue does tv rights generate and how much of it is being split between teams.

Don’t get me started on ticket sales if na there you won take generate money from.

Abi you won talk about sponsorship not everyone is Remo stars

Feed and hotel a team of 32 players and staff for a year, you pay salaries rent hotels for away games.

Your youth team is there too

How much are you generating to subsidize all these costs and you wonder why not every billionaire wants to own a club in our league

You are very correct, the only reason why I don’t pity the clubs is because when they don’t want a player any more they can be very ruthless about it, see the way United have treated their outcasts, there are more examples of clubs forcing players out

Simple point go and buy a club if it’s that simple

You don’t help the situation but criticize criticize and Criticize.

If you had owned your team in about 5 years ago you’ll be among the board members who can add input to the league

But you wanna change Nigerian league from nairaland forum good luck with that

You’ll still be in this same topic in the next 10 years

South Africa has unveiled their squad for September World cup qualifiers. As expected Mamelodi Sundowns players dominate the list. They play Lesotho and Nigeria on 5th and 9th September respectively. They won't be too stressed knowing fully well that Lesotho are their next door neighbours. May God help Nigeria!

Any coach wey ever play Ola Aina for left-back again, God fit pvnish am o. We have Agu and Onyemaechi on the left and they're both good, please play Aina on the effing right for God's sake!
Actually Ola Aina is technically astute to play on either the left or right it doesn't really matter.

I would not say any of your preferred players are better than him.
