I saw a post on NL last week where the author said men who forgive and take back their cheating wife live longer than men who don’t and I wonder if Nigerian men can actually do this, with their pride and all that 😏😔very prideful men we have here in the country. Men who will be expecting you message them first and ask them out hmm just don’t want to talk.

That said, the post might have some semblance of truth. Forgiveness isn’t weakness. It’s coming from a place of strengnt. God forgives sin because he’s strong and he’s the alpha and omega.

When a woman mistakenly cheat, it’s not an avenue for you to discard her like she didn’t matter, it just mean you should offer more support and get to the root of the matter. Maybe you’ve been neglecting her..

I’m not claiming an expert on relationship, I’ll leave that to counselors. Nonetheless, there might be some truth in it. I have never cheated in any of my relationships even when things weren’t going good, I’ll rather resolve it than step out.

But a man/woman who commits adultery has no sense; whoever does so destroys himself... I can give you a list of negativity in cheating..The worst thing is to make your partner not to trust you ..

If a man cheats, society will blame him for it and if a woman cheats, the same society will blame the man for making the woman cheat and ask him to support and stand by her to make her not to cheat again. Sometimes I just sit down during my meditation hour and wonder how beautiful this world would've been if God didn't create Eve.

My God, what has this world turned into? 🤷‍♂️ All these female advocates—don’t they ever think things through? 🤔 I mean, ah… 😔 These creatures are something else. Imagine a grown adult saying, 'I mistakenly cheated.' Mistakenly?! Who does that? 😮‍💨 Is it a slip of the tongue? A 'whoops' moment in the middle of a relationship? I believe instead that cheating/adultery— whether mistake or not— signifies the end of a relationship. Any attempt at bandaging after such betrayal is futile as emotions between the two are bound to remain tolerance and not love. After adultery has been discovered, couples should begin the wrap-up on the relationship, get therapy to prepare themselves for the eventual dissolution, and afterwards therapy to help them realize the facts that led up to the cheating —the victim is never at fault for the cheating.

If at a later time, the two decide to get back together in a relationship at a later point in time, then good for them, but not before.
