it's the reality seriously. Just travel to America, be working for 6 months at least and see how your financial life will improve. I'm 100% sure, in 6 months, you will have been sending money home for buildings and other things you want to do.

ibechris, you came from a solid background, your dad is rich before he passed that wealth to you. You don't struggle from the beginning. I have read more of post and comments on Nairaland. Just don't mock Nigerians working abroad.

At the end of everything, we will still need to ask Almighty God for his grace because many have done all the aforementioned but still ,nothing to show for it. Some people have been working hard for over 40 yrs but still on ground zero. But when Grace is involved, you may not even do up 60% of all what you listed above before things start turning around positively for you.

Before now the opposite was the case for me. Once a huge amount comes in, I'm tempted to upgrade the cars, furniture, change my wardrobe and that of my kids and encourage my hubby to do same, even when there's no pressing need to do so.
