I planned on getting a new phone this year so I decided to switch to Samsung after six years of Redmi. I initially intended to get the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus, but I hated the design and went for the Samsung A56 instead. Despite the A56 being a new device, I find it odd that I still occasionally switch to my Redmi Note 11. Despite getting my RN11 four years ago, it still feels very snappy and crisp, and in some cases, exceeds the much newer Samsung A56 in terms of functionality. Even my RN7 which I got six years ago has refused to die! I don't know how Xaiomi built their devices, but these drivers are designed to live forever if used properly. By God's grace, I'm switching back to Xiaomi next year. The grass is not always greener on the other side folks. If you are not getting a flagship Samsung device, don't buy. The mid ranges are not worth it! Stick with Xiaomi. |

Yes GT 7 is cool but the iqoo has the Elite Processor in a well sized frame. If you have used iqoo devices they optimize os and camera soo well. Tho they might not give you that premium look but mhennnn usage is sweet.

|

NeoWanZaeed:you mind giving why you outrightly went for samsung, noting that it is A series anyway? |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Azazyel: 6:54pm On Sep 02, 2025 |
gentlezypher:When it comes to aesthetics, Redmi note 13 is more beautiful In Raw performance, Samsung A16 clearly wins. Snapdragon 685 cannot match Helio G99's power. Redmi note 13 has the better display Samsung would give more software updates for longer but the good thing Redmi still gives at least 2yrs major updates. Samsung offers up to 6yrs major updates. In terms of camera, Samsung's rear camera offers better photos in reality thanks to its CPU. Redmi note 13 delivers good photos too but if you're a photography person, you would spot the differences Redmi note 13 has stereo speakers. Something the Samsung lacks. Both devices have great batteries so you won't have to worry about battery life. Redmi note 13 offers faster charging. 33wats against Samsung's 25watts If you want beautiful design and faster charging, go for the Redmi note 13 but if you're after better performance, Samsung A16 is your Pal. |

There is this issue with my Redmi note 14. It does not automatically revert to my preferred network (4G/LTE) after a network outage. It goes to 3G or even worse 2G. The network is MTN. I would have to manually reselect 4G in settings. Anybody noticed this issue? I am pretty tired of manually selecting 4G in settings. How can I resolve it pls? @Genius43 |
