Benue State in Nigeria is facing a significant humanitarian crisis, primarily due to persistent herder-farmer conflicts and armed banditry that has disrupted the agrarian livelihoods central to the state's economy. For the time being, Benue hosts 500,182 internally displaced persons (IDPs) who have been forced to leave their villages due to persistent attacks. In Benue Stste alone, over half a million people are in IDP camps, displaced by insecurity. What a disgrace. See why the Canadian Judge described the Nigerian politicians harshly, this is absurd, how can a nation have refugees in 'peacetime' all because some evil politicians and elites are shielding terrorists and bandits, all for their selfish ends.
