One thing people don't know about religion is that, most religions have similar stories.

I don't expect Africans to do this thing. There's no such thing as African Tradition religion. Every other race lists it's religions separately but we lump them all together. That's what is done when you don't think a thing is important enough to name. Like how you say "Ade, Ibrahim and others". List the religions, treat them as separate because they all are.

That's because Islam is the only one named by its founder. The names of the other religion came after them. All they bothered with was sharing a way of life.

How can anyone who went to school think that Islam is older than Christianity? Didn't they teach you history in school?

Islam is older. Qur'an chapter 2 vs 136 confirms this. In fact, all the prophets sent by Allaah submit to His will (they're all Muslims).

Follow the prophets accept Islam and bear witness that there is no other god (deity worthy of worship) except Allaah and that Muhammad is His slave and messenger.

African Traditional Religion is over 3000 years.

According to Islam, the religion started from the first man, Adam. It has always been there, and so far you believe in one God and follow the prophet at its time you are a Muslim. Though their original message may have be corrupted over time, that is why God kept sending prophet, around 125,000 of them, some we don't know by name.
Ex: Buddha, could have been a Muslim prophet, who thought the monotheistic message but the message got corrupted over time. (Just an hypothesis)

The fact that muhammad is the last prophet may mislead people into thinking that Islam is the last religion to exist, but it's just considered as the final and completed form of the same monotheistic message revealed throughout history.

This is totally wrong, Islam had been existing since our first father Adam ( Peace be unto him). He worshipped only one God that is indivisible.This means He was a Muslim.This is the correct point ☝️
