There's an option to 'send security question to registered mail' or so on the same page where you're to enter the answer. laurelbae: |

KBARBIE:There are other fund managers, you can open MMF account with apart from the current one you are using. such that each MMF serving a different purpose is with separate fund managers. We have Norrenberger, First Ally, etc. You can check my signature to see my contact and send a chat if you need further guidance. |

Abeg make I calm down learn investment for my own good. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by bassdow: 3:59pm On Aug 27, 2025 |
KBARBIE:if you must have multiple MMF accounts, makes more sense having with different providers e.g Stanbic, ARM, etc; than to have multiple accounts with same provider. Except of course you just want things categorized or whatever |

bassdow:Thank you very 🙏🙏 I was able to redeem, left my mmf account. But hasn't entered my receiving account. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 7:28pm On Aug 27, 2025 |
heavenisreal18:MMF is not tenor-based. Investors determine when to terminate in full or in part. Irrespective of the number of times you top up, all inflows are treated the same. Hence, when you log in, you will see your total balance, not according to how you top up. However, all deposits must stay 30 days or more before you can redeem without penalty. Given your example, after the last deposit, you will see 30,000 plus the interest each of the deposits has accrued as your balance. At redemption, after 30days, for example, you can withdraw 25,000 or less if doing a partial redemption or the total balance in your account if you are in for a full redemption. |

emmasoft:Does the 30 days start counting from the initial deposit or does each deposit have to stay it's own separate days after topping up? |

I'm just curious about withdrawal limits on MMF with different managers. My Stanbic account has a limit of 5m. Is this the situation with all stanbic accounts or am I on a lower tier? Also, what's the withdrawal limit with other managers on their highest tier?

234ng44uk:I have done as high as 40m on ARM before and reflected in less than 4 hours same day. I also find the limit with STANBIC a bit worrisome

| Re: Mutual Funds by bassdow: 12:56pm On Aug 28, 2025 |
Elui2:First thing first, the 30-days is just the number of days you wait else your interest would not be complete. That doesn't mean you can't deposit today and withdraw same day or the next or less than 20-days sef. Now with regards to your question, the 30-days starts from the day of first Investment which is when you added the initial deposit. if you deposit 5,000 naira on the first 1st 20,000 naira on the 25th 10,000 naira on the 28th, you are free to withdraw on the 31st even if it's everything you are withdrawing. What's counting towards the 30-day is that very first one. Hope I'm clear enough |
| Re: Mutual Funds by bassdow: 12:57pm On Aug 28, 2025 |
234ng44uk:Guess you're on mobile because if you go through the bank, that limit is much higher if not non existent |
| Re: Mutual Funds by bassdow: 12:59pm On Aug 28, 2025 |
synoble:You get time to dey check those things. I rarely do have time to check at all. Well the falling simply means economy don dey better than e dey before. It's expected except you're new in this. High rates means all isn't well with the economy and vice-versa |
| Re: Mutual Funds by 234ng44uk(m): 1:35pm On Aug 28, 2025 |
bassdow:Have you successfully made withdrawal above 5m from a stanbic mmf? |
| Re: Mutual Funds by bassdow: 1:57pm On Aug 28, 2025 |
234ng44uk:You didn't even ask if I have up to that. Anyways, I'm in for the very long term. Would suggest you call support over the phone to confirm. Within the banking hall, you can get much more than that BUT from the app, is limited though don't know exact figure. Oga @emmasoft should have that figure |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emekad2: 2:55pm On Aug 28, 2025 |
stanbic app? please! |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 3:35pm On Aug 28, 2025 |
bassdow:@234ng44uk and other investors, please note that the withdrawal limit on the app is 1 million, on the web portal is 5 million, and using the redemption form is unlimited. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 4:00pm On Aug 28, 2025 |
Elui2:Every new deposit must complete 30 days to enjoy withdrawal without penalty. As you already know, you can make a withdrawal anytime, only deposit up to 30days enjoy withdrawal without penalty. For example, if you deposit 10k say, on the 1st of June and another 15k on the 5th of June, then another 20k on the 20th of June If you wish to withdraw 45k on the 1st of July, you will pay 20% penalty on the accrued interest on 35k, but not on the accrued interest on the 10k, which is up to 30 days. Normally, during the withdrawal, the system will show you the sum that you are paying a penalty on ie, the one not up to 30 days stay in the fund |
