Objection (Non-Trinitarians): The Trinity is a man-made doctrine. The Scriptures never explicitly state that God is three in one. The Father alone is God; Jesus is His servant or Son, and the Spirit is merely His power. Answer (Truth of Scripture): It is true that the Bible does not present the Trinity in a single verse, like a dictionary definition. Yet, throughout Scripture, God reveals Himself in a progressive and interconnected manner. The Trinity is not a human invention—it is the unavoidable conclusion when one follows the testimony of God’s own Word. Let us examine certain unique scriptures often neglected in this discussion. 1. The Throne of God and the Lamb In Revelation 4, John sees a throne in heaven occupied by the Almighty. In Revelation 7:17, however, this same throne is described as being shared with the Lamb. Two Persons, yet one throne. If this were simply symbolic, it would have been clearer to keep them separate. Instead, the Lamb sits where only God sits. Literal Standard Version "...because the Lamb that [is] in the midst of the throne will feed them, and will lead them to living fountains of waters, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” 2. The First and the Last — God or Christ? Isaiah 44:6 records the words of Yahweh: “I am the First and I am the Last; apart from Me there is no God.” Yet, in Revelation 22:13, Jesus declares: “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” If Yahweh alone is the First and the Last, and Jesus also claims that title, then either Jesus is committing blasphemy—or He is Yahweh Himself. We have only these two options, if Jesus is not committing blasphemy, then He is Yahweh Himself. This same passage further states: “I am He who was, and is, and is to come, the Almighty” (Rev. 1:8 ). In verse 17, Jesus repeats the exact words: “I am the First and the Last.” The inference is inescapable: the Almighty and Jesus speak with the same eternal self-identity. 3. The Glory of God — Is Jesus that Glory? When Moses asked to see God, he was told: “You cannot see My face… but you shall see My back as My Glory passes by” (Exodus 33:18–23). Similarly, when Ezekiel saw God on His throne, all he beheld was the likeness of the Glory of the Lord (Ezekiel 1:28). Now, Hebrews 1:3 says: “The Son is the radiance of God’s Glory and the exact representation of His being.” Paul also teaches: “We all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s Glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing Glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18). So, if God’s Glory is God Himself revealed, and Jesus is called the Glory of God, then who is Jesus? He is not merely a messenger—He is the very Glory of God manifested in flesh. 4. The One Lord of Both Testaments The Old Testament constantly repeats: “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One” (Deut. 6:4). Notice, The Lord is One. Meaning there is no other Lord. Only The Lord, There is no Lord any other thing. Yahweh is called the Lord God Almighty. Yet Ephesians 4:5 affirms: “There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism.” Now, in the New Testament, the exclusive title Lord is applied to Jesus Christ. For instance, “No one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ except by the Holy Spirit” (1 Cor. 12:3). If there is only one Lord, and Jesus is constantly called Lord, then the Lord of the Old Testament and the Lord of the New Testament are the same Person. Throughout the New Testament, Jesus is called The Lord - a definite article. Jesus is not called a Lord or just Lord. He is called The Lord. Which Lord? The One Lord of cause. 5. Before Abraham Was, I Am Jesus did not say: “Before Abraham was, I was.” which is the correct and most logical way to talk as a man who has existed before Abraham. But, that would only suggest pre-existence. Instead, Jesus said: “Before Abraham was, I am” (John 8:58). The Jews perfectly understood what non-Trinitarians cannot understand. They knew what He meant, for they picked up stones to kill Him for blasphemy—He was claiming the same eternal Name revealed to Moses in Exodus 3:14: “I AM THAT I AM.” Only God can say, “I Am.” Jesus is not a created being. He is the I Am, eternally existing from everlasting to everlasting. 6. The Spirit — Spirit of God or Spirit of Christ? Romans 8:9 says: “You are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.” Notice that the same Spirit is interchangeably called the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ. Paul did not say “two Spirits”—it is the one Spirit (Eph. 4:4), belonging equally to God and Christ. Thus, the Spirit is not merely “God’s power.” He is the divine Person proceeding from both the Father and the Son, uniting believers with God Himself. 7. Rebuttal Shield — The “Servant” Argument Non-Trinitarians argue: “But Jesus said, ‘The Father is greater than I.’ Does that not prove He is lesser than God?” Answer: Scripture speaks of Jesus in two ways—His eternal divine nature, and His incarnate human nature. In Philippians 2:6–7, we are told that though He was in very nature God, He emptied Himself and took the form of a servant. In His humanity, He humbled Himself under the Father. But in His divinity, He remains equal with the Father from eternity. He speaks both as man and as God because both natures resided in Him. Hence, these truths must be held together. You do a great disservice to the Person of Christ when you hold one of His natures and reject the other. Both natures explicitly appear in Scripture. Final Statement From throne to Glory, from Lordship to the Spirit, the Scriptures leave us no room for the simplistic claim that “the Trinity is man-made.” The testimony is consistent: the Father is God, the Son is God, the Spirit is God. Yet, not three Gods, but One God. The revelation of the Trinity is not a philosophical invention—it is the self-disclosure of Yahweh in the Old Testament, fully unveiled in Christ and His Spirit in the New. If you say Jesus is only God and not man, you are committing a great fallacy berceuse that is not the complete Bible. Similarly, if you say Jesus is only man and not God, you are committing a great fallacy as well because that is not the only thing the Scriptures say about Jesus. When the complete Bible is upheld as truth, you cannot but come to terms with the fact that Jesus is both God and man, and that the Spirit of God is the same as the Spirit of Christ. If you believe the whole of the Bible to be God's Word, then the doctrine of the Trinity is a Bible Truth. CC: Ken4Christ, Image123, Gabrielshow24, TenQ |

Skeptic: But the Bible says Jesus is a prophet. Even Muslims accept Him as prophet, nothing more. Reply: If Jesus is only a prophet, then explain Hebrews 1:3. It says: “The Son is the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person.” Now pause. When Moses asked to see God, God said: “You cannot see my face, for no man shall see me and live” (Exodus 33:20). God only allowed Moses to see His back as His glory passed by (Exodus 33:22–23). Ezekiel too, when he saw the throne of God, all he could describe was the likeness of the glory of the Lord (Ezekiel 1:28). Yet Hebrews tells us plainly: Jesus IS that very Glory. If God’s Glory is God, and Jesus is God’s Glory, then who exactly is Jesus? A prophet? Or the very God men tremble to behold? Skeptic: But the Old Testament shows the Lord God Almighty, while the New Testament shows Jesus as Lord. Maybe there are two Lords? Reply: No. The Bible does not allow that. Ephesians 4:5 says: “There is one Lord.” Now notice this: Throughout the Old Testament, God is called “The LORD” (Exodus 6:2–3, Deuteronomy 6:4). But in the New Testament, when the disciples write or preach, the title “Lord” is used almost exclusively for Jesus (Acts 2:36, 1 Corinthians 12:3, Philippians 2:11). So if there is only one Lord in all heaven and earth, then the Old Testament LORD and the New Testament Lord Jesus are the same Person. The Bible didn’t say “two Lords.” The God of Abraham = the Lord Jesus. Skeptic: But Jesus Himself said “Before Abraham was, I was.” That just means He existed before Abraham, not that He is God. Reply: Wrong. Read it carefully. Jesus did not say “I was”. He said: “Before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58). Do you catch the weight of those words? “I was” would have only meant pre-existence. But “I AM” is the exact Name God revealed to Moses at the burning bush: “I AM THAT I AM” (Exodus 3:14). Jesus was not claiming He existed earlier. He was declaring timeless, eternal self-existence. A property that belongs only to God. That’s why the Jews immediately took up stones to kill Him — they understood He was making Himself equal with God. Skeptic: But if Jesus is God, why does Paul say in Corinthians that we are being changed from glory to glory by looking into the Word? Reply: 2 Corinthians 3:18 says: [b]“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory…” And John 1:1,14 already tells us that Jesus is the Word. So when you behold the Word, you are beholding Christ. That transformation “from glory to glory” is only possible because Jesus Himself is the Glory of God. If He was just a prophet, He couldn’t make men take on the very image of God. That Scripture in 2 Corinthians 3 first emphasized Moses face carrying God's Glory after He beheld the Presence of God on the Mountain for 40 days. The Israelites could not behold his face because of the Glory. They had to put a veil on his face so he could talk to people. Now, 2 Corinthians 3 is telling us that the same thing happens to us when we behold the Word of God. Because, the Word we behold which is Jesus, is the same personality that Moses beheld on the mountain. Moses' face held increasing levels of Glory for beholding God's Presence. We also attract increasing levels of Glory for beholding God's Word which is Jesus. Hence the same person whom Moses beheld is the same person we are beholding each time we behold the Word. What happened to Moses will therefore happen to us. We get transformed from Glory to Glory the same way Moses was transformed. This is in tandem with John 1:1 that says "The Word was God." Skeptic: But Jesus prayed to the Father. That shows He can’t be God. Reply: And when Jesus prayed in John 17:5, what did He say? “And now, O Father, glorify me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.” Again, the word glory. He wasn’t asking for something new. He was reclaiming the very eternal glory He shared with the Father before creation. No prophet dares to say this. Moses, Elijah, Isaiah — none of them ever said they shared the Father’s eternal glory. That belongs to God alone. In Isaiah 42:8, God says: "I am the LORD! That is my name! I will not share my glory with anyone else..." So, if Jesus is not God Himself, how dare He request for the Glory that belongs only to the Father? Skeptic: But maybe the word “Lord” in the New Testament just means “master” or “sir,” not God. Reply: If that were true, then Thomas was blaspheming in John 20:28 when he fell before Jesus and cried: “My Lord and my God!” Notice — Jesus did not correct him. Instead, He blessed those who would believe the same without seeing. Philippians 2:10–11 seals it: “At the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Bowing the knee is reserved for God alone (Isaiah 45:23). Yet here the whole universe bows to Jesus. That makes Him none other than God. Conclusion: From Moses who only saw God’s back, to Ezekiel who saw only glory, to Hebrews saying Jesus is that Glory, to Paul affirming one Lord, to Jesus declaring “I AM,” to Thomas confessing “My Lord and my God” — the Scriptures are not vague. Jesus is not “a prophet.” He is I AM, the one Lord, the Glory of God. The very God of Abraham revealed in flesh. |

MaxInDHouse:The day you understand these Scriptures below, that day is the day your eyes will open. Proverbs 25:2 "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings" Deuteronomy 29:29 “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things which are revealed and disclosed belong to us and to our children forever. 1 Corinthians 2:10 "But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God." If you are still looking for the surface things of Scripture, keep searching for the word Trinity. If you are looking for things beneath the surface-the deep things of God, read what you called an epistle above. |

Scriptures can be misconstrued as you wish to interpret it to suit whatever you want to believe first let the scripture mention the word then the rest will be how to convince the listener why it has to be so but claiming something that's not mentioned in God's word and to worsen the matter it's known among ancient pagan traditions. FxMasterz:No wahala jàre since it's not written in the Bible God warned His worshipers not to copy anything from pagans: The Lord your God will cut off before you the nations you are about to invade and dispossess. But when you have driven them out and settled in their land, and after they have been destroyed before you, be careful not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods, saying, “How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same.” Deuteronomy 12:29-30 NIV So if Trinity is not found among God's people but history reveals that it's pagan traditions i rest my case! ![]() |

FxMasterz:The word "WITNESSES" is what the Bible God called His worshipers {Isaiah 43:10} as for "KINGDOM" that's the main theme of the message John the baptist and Jesus of Nazareth preached {Matthew 3:2; Matthew 4:17} and Jesus commanded us to preach {Matthew 10:7} we meet in a "HALL" to deliberate on how to carry out the assignment Jesus gave us! Matthew 28:19-20 Please you have proved that the word TRINITY can't be found in the Bible but you people have explanations to prove your faith in your TRINITY. Nobody is saying you shouldn't believe whatever you want our main concern is if that thing is found written in the Bible so if not then it's not a compulsion for Bible believers! |

MaxInDHouse:Lol. Trinity is a Truth. A truth is something to uncover from underneath. It does not float on the surface. So, you didn't see Jehovah witness, kingdom Hall and the "don't keep a moustache" doctrine in the Bible, but you hold on to then anyway? Meanwhile, Trinity is in the Bible, and that is what I have proven above. Trinity is a doctrine, not just a word. The doctrine is sound and backed by Scriptures as explained in the OP. |

SarcasticWords:That is what TRINITY means in theology schools though it's not found in God's word. In fact that is the main reason why you have thousands of religions with contradicting teachings and conflicting doctrines all claiming Christians so if anyone wants to start his own The rest is underground accusations that can't be brought to the public. What is the problem with TRINITY? Since it's not found in the Bible and each person wants to establish his/her own definition there can't be agreement among it's worshipers all what they are targeting is riches (Mammon) so whoever doesn't become wealthy among it's worshipers is considered a loser. But in Christ Jesus we must all have the same line of thought in the faith {1Corinthans 1:10; 1Peter 3:8} just as Jesus fervently prayed for among his disciples! John 17:22 Please ask each TRINITY worshiper to mention the name of his or her church you will be surprised that they will be hiding behind anonymous just as the Bible says regarding false religionists in the end time {Hosea 10:8; Luke 23:30; Revelations 6:16} Jesus has restructured his group so that they now stands out as they did in the first century {Matthew 5:14-16} today God has given His true worshipers another group name {Isaiah 65:15} so if they're claiming Christians we just laugh at them because there is a global family of peace loving worshipers exhibiting all the qualities Jesus said honest hearted and sincere people should look for among his true disciples!
