When I Watched Benjamin Frederick at the Under 20 world cup in 2023, I said to myself "How can a Nigerian CB play like Saliba.

Calm under pressure, drives the ball to beat a press and with a good passing ability, the boy swept me off my feet.

That was why when Brentford signed him the next year (2024) straight from Nasarawa United, I said to myself that this boy will make it big in World Football just like Joseph Yobo.

His recent Call up to the Nigerian Super Eagles for the world cup qualifiers in September, gives more credence to his ascendancy in being the best Centre Back in Africa.

Coach Eric Chelle should pair him and Bassey at Centre Back, as troost Ekong has lost his pace.

I strongly believe that after his loan spell in Belgium, he would fight for a place in the Brentford team next year.
