Apart from equipment, the doctors are overwhelmingly incompetent and on top of that they do not give a shit about their patients.

Visit public hospitals, observe and weep.

Even Evercare in Lekki, with the millions they charge is a piece of garbage.

Sub-optimal care from the doctors in charge. They obviously waited too long to amputate and sepsis from necrotic flesh may have set in. Her vitals and liver function probably weren't monitored regularly.
But then again, trauma alone has deep psychological effects and she may have just lost the will to live. This is one death too many caused by Dangote and his drivers. The company should be sued for billions.

Not all hospitals understand how to deal with amputations. . When amputated...ur body will react negatively...it will lead to High blood pressure cos the heart have. A specific amount of blood it pumps out to cover the body... when a part is amputated., the heart will still pump same amount despite a part of the body is out...

Dangote should stop employing these teenagers as drivers. Where are the graduate drivers he claimed to have employed? This incident became known because the family of the victim is popular. There are so many victims of his drivers recklessness who are not known. If you see those driving his trucks, you'd think they took that truck away without permission cos of their young age and how reckless they can be on the highway

He was dragging audience with Dangote's crew with Phyna...like phyna should not have met with Dangote's representatives without him and felt slighted when she did.
That was the beginning of the bickering between the two, leading him to accuse her of betrayal and hiding her sister's private life from the public in respect to her late sister nursing two kids

This was the reason the Dangote's team did not want audience with vdm on this Matter. Because as always will take attention from what really matters.

The public didn't need to know anything about this lady's personal life.

There's no amount of money that would bring back the lady's leg so even if she or her family asks for N10billion as lifelong rehabilitation it's still within reason.

If the family chooses to build a house for her with it, send her abroad; scholarship for her kids; whatever the decision; we don't need that explanation.

All that matters is compensation is paid

VDM and the sister really messed up. A life was at stake and they were doing those shenanigans on social media accusing each other.

You leave who to blame , you’re blaming VDM and Phyna , if they didn’t make this noise , Dangote won’t even blink . Just imagine it wasn’t Phyna sister … case example : the one left for 11 months breathing through her throat .

Trauma can cause it. You may still not understand what this means cos your comment showed you had no idea or knowledge of medicine. Visit any trauma department in any teaching hospital and get more details about how amputation could lead to patient's death if not managed. A patient who went through amputation of a major limb may require an additional support of a psychologist else, he/she may not survive it. This often happens to young patients who are mainly ambitious.

I don’t know if they are quacks. But I know they are not good at fixing complex fractures.

Two people I know had to get everything Everton did, fixed abroad. One of the two almost died from infections, a slipped metal plate and loss of motor function from damaged nerves.

I know a third that died. All three were broken bones issues.

This is what most Nigerians don’t understand about distribution business. Majority of these trucks are so branded by third-party distributors and marketers of Dangote products. It means they are not directly owned and managed by Dangote Group.

Unfortunately anywhere people see trucks bearing the brand, they conclude it belongs to Dangote Group. That someone goes about supplying Pepsi products using a Pepsi-branded truck should not fool you to believe that the truck and sometimes even the products emanate from the makers of Pepsi. Nigeria’s business field stinks with irregularities.
