Back when I lived in Benue State, my landlord’s wife used to hit him over the smallest things. He was such a calm and gentle man—a professor, even. So yeah, my guy, things like that really do happen.I’ve also met a lady who said she’d only marry a man who does house chores.

What I said was if it was true, a girl who comes from such a home would have displayed such traits. You don’t need to visit her home to know she is not wife material. Hence it is a fake story. There are things a girl raised in that environment will have displayed in the course of dating.

This story is not complete but from the little information, I believe the guy is giving a dog a bad name just to hang it.

We have seen good girls come from broken and bad homes and bad girls coming from good homes.

He doesn't understand the family dynamics of the girl and even if that's the case of the mother talking down on the father, the girl should not be made to pay for the sins of the mother

Like I said before, there is definitely more to what meets the eyes as this is definitely too small to cause cancelling a whole wedding

Could be. What is obvious is that in the home, the children are irreponsible and extremely lazy. They have very poor personal hygiene and in the main, they will be unhealthy people. If the man decides to wash the plates, it means the children have very poor upbringing, he probably was an absent dad who dislikes an unclean environment.
But the decision to not marry has nothing to do with the home dynamics. Most people who grow up in dysfunctional homes, usually want to make a clean break from that template.

The Guy judged all of them including his wife to be but if is me i will calm down to monitor the behavior of my wife to be more. I will be observing two things from my future wife. The first and second thing i will observing from my wife to be is between her Dad and Mummy who she likes best and whom she respect more with regard.

If i later got the answer which i will definitely got from her that she likes her Dad more than her mother i will definitely continue with her and settle down with her but in the other hand if my wife to be respect her mother more than her father i will quietly and gently work away without complain and call it a day.

I marry my wife with two things i technically observed from her not for love because i dont believe in love . It is a fiction. The two things i observe from my wife before proposing to her that i want to marry her are as follows:

1. First Outing with her after entertaining her with drinks ,beer and meats ,you know women like meat a lot . She refused to accept transport fare i gave her to go back.

2. Second reason why i choose to marry her is her mother divorce her Dad after given birth to her and abandoned her and remarry another man. My wife always show more regards to her dad than her mouth. Any woman who respect and regards her dad will definitely respect her husband if you know your onions as a man.

I will have patience to know why things get wrong and know how can be solved or not if i where that yong man

This must have been after CLOSING his EYES to ALL the RED LIGHTS he had been noticing. He just got himself delivered from a future oppressor of his home, that's if he would have been able to have a home with such a woman as mother in law at all.

I know someone who says that he saw all this dynamics and worse, confronted the wife to be at the time but excuses were given fast forward a few years latter, these dynamics manifested in the already married couples, this and many more of this led to the brake up of the marraige. He wishes he took those signs serious and stepped back from the marraige. My advice is this. If you see a woman and her mother controls her father, run from that woman. I assure nothing good would come out of it I marraige, she may talk nice and good before marraige because she knows what her father is going through but once married, the mothers spirit and control will take over her, believe me she will be worse than her mother and demonicly manipulative.

Your surprise and indignation is borne out of ignorance in some African cultures. What do you think the Bible meant when it says for a man to love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave His life for her? How can you die for your wife as instructed? What's washing of plates in the kitchen? How does that bring you down? If not for foolish pride! No wife could do all the household chores alone without help from their husband and children. So wake up to the reality of how marriage is meant to work. It's work, work and more work especially for the man.
I don't know about other religions, Christian marriage is for mature Christian men and women who understand the injunctions in Eph. 5 and 1 cor. 13 especially.

Look at people saying that there is nothing wrong in an elder washing plates while the woman shouts him down. Little wonder we are having so many cases of broken marriages these days.
It is completely inconceivable that my father would be washing plates while my mother is standing watching him. In fact I never saw my father in the kitchen for once.
The man did the right thing by fleeing from such a dysfunctional household as that would have been his future if he remained in the ill-fated union.
If you want to know how a woman is watch the way her mother behaves towards her father. It could make or mar your future. I know someone going through the same shit his father in-law went through in the hands of his mother in-law. The lady want to do same to him but she has been encountering resistance from him leading to strife in the supposed union as the daughter of jezebel is still striving to have her way.
