Good evening everyone, please I have a question regarding NPC birth certificate. According to the visa requirements; for births after December 13, 1992 NPC birth certificate if the birth was registered before the age of 18 otherwise certified copy of the local birth register extract based on the first registration and affidavit* (“Declaration of Age”) of one parent or the head of the family if both parents are deceased (please hand in the death certificates) AND copy of an identity document showing the signature of the person making the affidavit makes an affidavit. I tried to reprint certificate to confirm if I was registered before 18years but I wasn't. Kindly advise on how I can get my NPC birth certificate and secondly how do I go about the parent affidavit. |

tell your mom or dad to go to court and declare on your behalf, you must upload it along with ID Card showing the signature of the person that declared for you with your birth certificate showing your parents names Missmarola: |

Thank you for your response @victorygiven, this is well understood but I don't have my birth certificate and was not registered with NPC before 18years. Can only affidavit sworn by either of my parents work or do I still need NPC birth certificate. If yes, how can I get it please. victorygiven: |

The extract you posted mentioned a local registered certificate not an NPC Certificate, you can apply for an attestation. Go to the npc website to get one. Missmarola: |

Affidavit alone is not enough – You still need an NPC Birth Certificate or Attestation of Birth. go to NPC website to apply for one Missmarola: |

Ive got a master in chemistry from belgium, do you think having an EU degree certificate helps reduce the waiting time.? I could have done it while I was still in Europe but it was only recently I found out about this. Btw, I do have someone who's gonna act as a sponsor in Germany. I also read something about primary school certificate? What is that? Do I need this to apply? Thank you for your answers. |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by victorygiven: 5:47pm On Aug 29, 2025 |
You cannot reduce waiting time when applying from Nigeria unless you are applying from Europe, every country have its own waiting time, your sponsor in Germany will get a sponsorship letter for you, For your primary school certificate, you can visit your primary school and get it in person Temmyday: |

victorygiven:Hi, what about someone who has his primary education in a Nur/Pry school in Ekiti State, but is originally from Edo State? Will they have to go to Ekiti State to get this primary school document, or they can get it from their state of origin? |

Hello everyone, Please I need assistance, I don't have my primary school certificate and I did only primary 1 to 4 in nigeria while primary 5 to 6 was completed outside nigeria. Is there a way I can get my certificate here in nigeria or what can I do please. |

Ekiti State is where your school is located so go there onlyhope: |

You can visit the school where you completed Primary 1–4 to request a testimonial. Alternatively, you can use your completion certificate from the school abroad, as the embassy mainly needs proof that you completed your primary education. Others should suggest as well, goodluck Missmarola: |

victorygiven:You can literally pass A1 German in 2 weeks which cost way less than IELTs. If you're going via HND, you have no choice than to to DAB. Do it and qualify as a skilled worker |

Thanks, what if i want to use English, can i use a letter of proficiency in English language written by my school? Hannania: |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by cyberbro: 8:53am On Sep 02, 2025 |
Hannania:I believe you mean well, but try not to misinform people by exaggerating certain things while you're trying to help. Passing German (Start Deutsch A1) in 2 weeks for someone who hasn't learnt German for at least 2 months is very unrealistic and in most cases impossible, especially when you're not in Germany. Also, the cost of learning German + Goethe A1 exam fee isn't cheaper than doing IELTS exam, which, as an English speaker, you can even prepare on your own and pass without paying for any class. |

Hannania:You're the one with limitations here, especially with understanding and accepting corrections and facts. Telling people they can learn German and pass A1 all in 2 weeks and that this is cheaper than IELTS is complete garbage but you have an ego issue cos people mention you here for info. I taught German for 5 years in Nigeria before moving to the UK, but you know everything better because you're active on this thread. 😏 Oya, tell us how you finished the entire A1 syllabus: nouns (Nomen), pronouns, cases (nominativ, akkusativ, dativ), present and past tense (Präteritum, Perfekt), adjectives and adjective endings, adverbs, letter writing (Brief Schreiben) Modal verbs, Numbers in German, just to mention a few, and you somehow managed to prepare for Lesen, Schreiben, Hören and Sprechen, all within 2 weeks... You think it's everyone you can give lamba? 🙃 I really pity those following you without doing their own research. That was how you advised someone not to send a feedback for correction on the portal, claiming the embassy could see his comment in real-time as if the portal was a chat site, and the guy ended up having his application struck out because he didn't send for correction. I am sure even the guy couldn't trace it back to your advice. Anyways, continue... |
