I've always been told that Africans are less quick to call things racism. My friends usually call me out as I try to find alternate rationales for things that they see to be obvious racism.
My problem is that if I can find a somewhat plausible rational for an action, then I can't be sure it's racism, so I won't call it racism.
Do you think that may play a role in your experience?

Actually, no. Being African does not make me less quick to call things racist. I see racism on our streets a lot, especially with police and black drivers.

I myself once had 3 producers in a week, but I can't claim to have experienced racism much, because as soon as I open my mouth, potential racist idiots tend to not be racist towards me.

Racists choose weak people just as bullies do, and I don't seem to come across as one they can bully, I think. And I speak English better than some natives, so that tends to stymy them.

From the statistics on mass shootings, transgenders shouldn't be topmost on the risk register of any sensible government in the US.

The overall issue around gun control should rather come to the fore for all amercians..

But since mu-murity is tied up with americans let them continue..

Let this admistratiom ban transgender folks from owning guns and let's see if that will reduce the shootings in the country..
