We claim to be practicing democracy but continue to find ways to punish and silence critics.

This country is too rough. Why do people get punish for what they say? Tomorrow another leader will extend to 2 years.

Sometimes it better to let go. You're fighting a battle that's unnecessary. Wasting money on lawyers that know there's no way the matter will be resolved quickly or even in your favour doesn’t make aense. With a little patience, 2 months will be over. Learning point from all this is to Sometimes keep your opinion to yourself. Even in USA right now, legalized citizens are being stripped of their citizenship and deported. Just 2 months and she's paraing.. hope she knows that potential employers are observing and saying to themselves "this one na trouble maker". Anyway maybe she wants to work for Sowore. Truth be told, she was rude to the NYSC officials. It's a para military organisation for crying out loud. Express yourself without defying authority

The issue is even that the president mustn't be seen to be overriding the disciplinary decisions taken by agencies (especially military or paramilitary) otherwise it'll render them powerless to control their members

if you can't support a positive cause, don't be amongst those demoralizing the cause.

If she didn't miss her biometrics, I would have said this is true. She gave them the opportunity to punish her. She missed her biometric attendance and definitely without a written and signed justification.

It's typical of NYSC to give extension. She's not the only one with 2 months extension. I'm pretty sure there are over 100 others serving the 2 months.

Just serve your two months. This is not a case you can win, sadly.

A few weeks ago, A new NYSC member who did redeployment failed to complete some documentation. We tried to push some buttons, but then, we had to let him return to that state of posting to rectify things before returning to Lagos. Better than waiting until after service year then you pay dearly for it.

You said some people's heritage, state of origin smells as if it is all part that smells (or does she wants to tell us there isn't a single place in her state of origin that smells)? Moreover, did she went to Lagos for service or to be a sanitation inspector?

She then decided to rub it in by responding to a user that, not only are her host (a majority ethnicity in Nigeria) smelly, one of their brothers is also her Uber driver in Abuja!

The funny thing with going this kinda route is that she has certain persons in mind as being behind her predicament, not knowing that her matter is what I will like to call "community project."

When I got admission into the university early 2000 as usual just like every Nigeria family will do I got advice from family members don't join bad gangs don't forget where you are coming from and all that but my father called me aside and his advice shocked me because I never thought of it and his advice really helped me and till today I sometimes ponder about it. His words DO NOT TAKE PART IN ANY PROTEST OR ACTIVISM.

Petition will take Tinubu 6 months to read while nysc extension is 3 months

Charge and bail lawyer at work again, pushing and hiding behind her for their selfish gains without minding what this may cause her in future search of employment

Right move, they cannot arbitrary extend your service. What is even special about their nonsense scheme to extend in the first place.

I've noticed Nigerians are very difficult people to deal with. They should automate the verification exercise so that every corp member can do it online.
