Joe Aribo - 2 goals
Dele Bashiru - 2 goals
Onyeka - 2 goals
Onyedika - 1 goal
Ndidi - 0

All of them had their debut years after Ndidi and he has 0.

I had this thought just thinking of the chance he lost against Zimbabwe to put us 2 goals up. angry angry

What did that experience do vs Zimbabwe?
Coaching is not emotional. You don’t change your experienced defender ( captain for that matter) because of one mistake. If Federick buckles under the weight of this game na una go still cry here.

Full back and goal keeper positions are very sensitive. You don’t change them because of one mistake.

Match wey we go play upfront, you carry newbie with 1 cap keep for back. No worry.

https://x.com/sse_nga/status/1964334312116883789?s=46 Our starting eleven is officially out. Troost ekong is dropped for future captain Fredrick’s. I mentioned this here couple days ago. Nigeria 1-0 Rwanda. Victory for Nigeria

Unless Ekong is unfit, this is a bad decision. Experience is very important in this game.
Forget experience boss... Ekong normally has always struggled in a 2 man CB pairing... His lack of pace and ball playing abilities are an issue... In a 3 man CB pairing, he is capable..

Yh Ekong doesn’t have pace. Ball playing (well debatable) But why should that be the most important thing to check?

What happened to core defensive abilities like interceptions, saves, marking, heading, coordinating the back line? Anyway sha maybe una understand the tactic. Me ah no understand oh.

We need goals today, can't sugar coat it. As many as possible. Set pieces will be key. Moses Simon has to improve on his crossing, if e no fit..he should switch with Lookman.

When Omeruo was thrown into the deep end at Afcon 2013 by Keshi, dropping Yobo, what happened?

When Keshi went with a young Onazi in midfield over experienced Nosa Igiebor, what happened??

How many caps did both 2013 youngsters have before the legendary CIV game in the Quarters?

Infact how many did Omeruo have before his first Full Afcon 90mins vs Zambia at Afcon 2013?? 2 caps. None of them 90mins.

So rest.

Keshi sent experienced and Captain Yobo to the bench and gave 19 years old Omeruo the chance and it paid of in 2013 AFCON.
I swear I was just about to say Fredrick starting is the biggest decision a coach has made since keshi at the AFCON

Sugarboyy:
That's why I mentioned the second option. Some of our better players don't give their all when playing for the SE and it's part of the reason we are where we are now.
As good as Iwobi in Fulham and the premier league, what has he contributed to the SE in this qualifiers so far? What about Simon, Chukwueze, Ekong, Ndidi, Aribo at some point, Boniface, Awoniyi, and their likes... What has been their contributions?

Duraissay scored twice today, Salah scored, Marmouise scored, Bakambu scored, these players always does well playing for their NT, can same be said of the SE players, aside Osimhen, Lookman, Bassey and Aina?
Iwobi should be coming from the flanks, that is where he will excel the most especially in our set up and pattern of play.

We have seen the Super Eagles under different coaches and it is very clear to see how this coaches have affected their pattern of play. These players have shown distant approaches in their play. If their playing style is exactly the same, we can say for sure that the problem is with them, but we see different coaches and how their unique style has changed the way we play.

So the problem is the coaches not the players.
