Even Ekong is a fan of the young boy that is taking his place in the starting line up.
Ekong absolutely has no complaints. He knows that boy is even future captain material. Still 20 but already playing like a top class veteran.

Benjamin Frederick's breakthrough at the 2023 Fifa U20 WC was no fluke at all.

As we dey pray for wetin we go eat, may we not meet wetin go eat us o.
We need serious competition for Nwabali

I never understand that Dessers yet. Dude is looking lost so far.
Kindly cut him some slack. The guy just recovered from an ankle injury. I didn't even want him to play today (reason I didn't celebrate when he came on) because of it.

Let's tell our wives, babes and praying mothers to begin the intercessions.

It's either we play better or SA plays worse than us

Yh he was good. But imo Ekong should return against SA. We will be doing a lot of raw defending in Bloemfontein.

Yeah that's true, no wonder he wasn't forceful today
I completely understand the substitution then

Lookman picked up later in the game..
Could have had a goal or two, if not for that superstar goal keeper

you mean , the midfield that was later sold to the Rwandans in the final 15mins of the game ... after SE scored , they came out to play , i thought the Eagles will score more goals , but unfortunately they didnt .... the game plan for the Rwanda coach was awful ,he would have given the SE a fight for their money ... unfortunately he chose the wrong approach for a poor attacking team like the SE.....

we struggled to beat rwanda cuz we were sluggish in moving the ball quickly and crisppy, to beat a bus packing team, you must be crisp and accurate but our boys playing as if they lost hope of qualifying
towards the end of the match we gased out and allowed them control the match

eric has to be bold to beat SA, i can't see us playing like this to beat them
aroko has proven himself again, maybe we have a good substitute to VO now

we need a ball holder that can rival iwobi, our MF needs help
Well that has been like forever. We dont trust other personnel apart from Iwobi. We need players like Onyedika and Uche doubling down in the midfield. Unfortunately, players like Ndidi and Simon will have to leave for that to happen

I’m not a fan of Moses Simon
He’s obviously coach Chelle friend
He should be on the bench or right wing
He’s not lethal, Lookman should be on the left wing
Coach is hindering Lookmans efficiency
It will cost us

I dont think you understand Benjamin's quality. Do you know Dean Huijsen signed by Real Madrid from Bournemouth this summer? Benjamin Chiemela Frederick is similar in playing profile to Huijsen.

He starts vs SA for me. His recovery speed is also important. Ekong does not have that anymore.

I blame the coach for that..
He should have taken out iwobi and maybe Simon
The Lookman sub was wrong in my opinion
We were pinning them back and creating chance after chance

But after iwobi and Simon gassed out, we went deeper and deeper into our half

We needed fresh legs to push on
He should have brought Uche and chucks

I guess he was okay with 1;0
And he probably thought Rwanda wasn't much of a threat too

Exactly. He's too arrogant on the ball and taking massive risks. I don't know what else he's trying to prove.

Opponents can easily target him and get him red carded
I know SA will want to exploit that

That ball he caught cleanly but proceeded to sweep the Rwandan guy off the ground. I shouted cos another ref would have punished him for that.
