Please how serious is Osimhen's injury?

For those who are praying, these should be your request and why.

1. Nigeria wins South Africa for obvious reasons

2. Rwanda wins Zimbabwe. We need them to still be in the running so they can take their game against South Africa seriously. They are unlikely to play hard against South Africa if they are assured of not qualifying.

3. Lesotho wins Benin to stop their momentum .
bolded not gonna happen

Now this is more like it..
Win that SA game and throw the group open..
It will be more interesting if Benin lose or draw..
we must beat SA oooooo…cos Benin will beat Lesotho and pray we draw or lose to SA ooo….And Rwanda will come gun blazing at an already eliminated Zimbabwe
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:23pm On Sep 06, 2025
The bad is that SA is playing to avoid a loss. So if they decide they want to play for a draw they will be okay. We are the ones under big pressure

kennysville:
I doubt they will attack. They probably will be content keeping the possession. The pressure is still very much on the Super Eagles. We are still trailing by 6 points

I think the coach needs to tell them to prioritize scanning and passing over shooting
Shoot only when there’s no one obviously available
Moses could’ve passed a solid ball but went to shoot it straight to the goalie, bad angle
Somewhat selfish
Osimhen usually pass if he’s lost momentum or doesn’t have proper goal sight
He’s not one to rely on when we desperately need a goal
this is exactly how SA plays…those guys will choose to pass to a free man…watch their goal against us in Uyo…very swift ball passing till they scored us

I want to see both on the pitch

lbrichman2:
Now we can be confident if Osimhen is injured or unavailable!!!
Tolu!!!
Cometh the hour, cometh the man!!!

It's TEA TIME!!!!

U are right..
And this is my take
I know lesotho can beat Benin or atleast draw becoz they will have massive support of SA.
Also rwanda can beat zim they are playing at home and need the Point so bad they are also obviously better team.

S.E really need to win Their next game by all means

Brilliant game from Benjamin Frederick!!! A youngster with such limitless ceiling. His ball distribution, Interceptions, Game reading all on point. Top quality young CB
Please remove that word young pls. He must start all our games.

Lookman played well in this match
Baba even dey run back to recover possession
Just some miss chances from a brilliant goalkeeper save
But that's where the problem lies na. We are where we are today because we are NOT SCORING GOALS.

Possesion or defence hasn't really been our main problem. We drew five games because we don't take our chances.

everytime take out iwobi
Taking him out cost us Zimbabwe game
Iwobi had a mad long range shot on target today
He gave a clean, and I mean wickedly clean through pass to Dessers
He recovered a ball that mistakenly hit Bassey and almost landed on a Rwandan player's leg at the edge of our box and cleared it away from danger.
He defended a well headed ball from the Rwandan corner, that thing was goal bound.

Iwobi too good seh. Make mumuuuuu people dey talk down on am. No one, and I repeat, no one in our team has his vision range.

On to the game against South Africa on Tuesday. If we can step our game up we can defeat South Africa. Nigeria 1-0 South Africa or 2-1 in favor of Nigeria

Iwobi did well, he even saved a goal bound shot in the 72nd minute from a corner kick with his chest, after Nwabali was already beaten.

The guy's antics can be tiring
One of our goalies needs to step up
Okoye says hi. His suspension would soon be over.

Actually he wasn't..
Onyeka wasn't it today
Just a bad day at the office, I guess
I don't blame Onyeka, I blame Chelle. On the 1st half, we only attacked through the left because Ademola and Victor were in the middle and the right flank was left completely empty. But things were switched around in the 2nd half thankfully.

You mean all these conditions are needed to be satisfied, this is unlikely.
🤔🤔🤔
The draw against Zimbabwe was partly the cause, I hope we can do better in the future, our performances has been poor.
