Samueltemi337:I'm not the one going to play in Bloemfontein. I'm just a fan sitting in my house. The only thing I can do is analyze and hope. What's wrong with that? Sometimes I don't understand the way some of una dey think. |

QueenJazz:Nobody said you shouldn't analyse But at least drop something worth reading Not that thing you dropped up there 😒 The south africans go loosen up for defence if no Osimhen Because na Osimhen them come play and not Super Eagles |

NIGHTMARE0O7:The guy deserves all the criticism. At least other players are regulars for their clubs and have good games in SE. When last has Chuks made us proud? |

Samueltemi337:Look oga, it's not that deep. You're right, they're playing the Super Eagles, but every team adjusts their strategy based on the opponent's key players. Take away a team's biggest threat, and the opponent can afford to be a bit more adventurous. That's just football 101. It's also psychology 101. But I appreciate the feedback. Afterall na you be the most celebrated football analyst for this forum and in Nigeria as a whole. Nairaland Guardiola. Well done. |

MetalJigsaw:that tactics I think is more suited for tournament football than qualifiers That’s the same negative tactical approach that propelled Morocco the semis of the last World Cup It works perfectly well when playing against superior teams but frustrating when playing lower rated teams So it has its advantage and disadvantage |

MetalJigsaw:It does psychological damage to teams and their chances. After the whole exercise, they may end up deducting. That is being fair |

BankyGee:And pairing both should be in a 352. 442 should be a bygone for us. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by MetalJigsaw(m): 10:21am On Sep 07, 2025 |
kennysville:That's the problem. Deducting is still under probability. By the way, any violating team should have themselves to blame when penalized automatically, not FIFA. |

comodo:that's a quality of a good tactician, learn from previous games. Ideally with the pedigree of Nigeria in football, we shouldn't be holding on to a goal lead against Zimbabwe or Rwanda. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Unlimited22: 10:30am On Sep 07, 2025 |
MetalJigsaw:Because we are still going to play them. It's in our hands. We just have to win all remaining games, and hope for slip ups if not in our group then among the contenders for the playoff spots. |

QueenJazz:Since when Guardiola become analyst Anyway I will be waiting to watch the south african loosen defence Expecting nothing less than 3 goals from the Super Eagles |

realpoacher:i get his point. Over dependence creates a key man risk. Once the key man is out, the team cannot function. |

BankyGee:Foe a fact, Nwabali is better then at least 70% of the GKs in the Premier League. That guy is good enough to be the GK of any elite football team. If he was white or light- skinned he would have left Africa. |

NIGHTMARE0O7:Every match against the bottom placed teams in the groups apart from the group that has 5 teams will be discounted. In the case of our group, the 2 points we got versus Zimbabwe will be removed, if we finish 2nd. For Gabon in group F, the 6 points the got from Seychelles will be discontinued. This will be done after all the matches are concluded. By then we will see who finished 2nd in all the groups and who finished last. This method has been consistently been adopted by FIFA, UEFA and CAF previously. I think if we win all our matches we will be among the best runner up 100%, but any slip ups will be dicey |

NIGHTMARE0O7:Not just Lesotho, Zimbabwe too they both play their home matches in SouthAfrica. Well na we Bleep up, if we won our other 3 home games like other big teams do and at least draw Benin, we we would have been 2 points ahead of SA |

zicky:There is a saying... to fail to prepare is to prepare to fail. We brought this on ourselves. The same way Samson said I will arise as at other times but the spirit of God had left him. There is a lot to be said about this... but I am sure yall know that already right? |

CapitalCee:i think the points will be deducted from all teams in that group that had played against the bottom teams and not just teams on second place |
