Abeg make Una manage expectations for the next match o, people don forget the rubbish we play against Rwanda Dey make mouth 😂
That’s because most people judge from outcome and don’t really analyze the gameplay. Nigeria’s game yesterday wasn’t impressive especially in attack.

If Rwanda managed to sneak in one at the closing minute, many here would have completely different opinions, meanwhile it was practically the same game. Goals sometimes don’t tell the whole story. You can win 3-0 and still play rubbish.

na only for Afcon and our home matches we dey beat SA convincingly..we hardly beat them on their home ground..
- in world cup qualifiers 2008 it ended 0-0
- in Afcon qualifiers 2015 it was 0-0
-in friendly match 2015 it was 1-1
-in 2004 mandela challenge they won us 2-1
-in 2019 Afcon qualifiers it was 1-1

However
-in 2013 Mandela challenge we won them 2-0
-in Chan 2014 we beat them 3-1

That we didn’t concede was really a miracle with the we went flat in the last quarter of that game.

I have no expectations for our next match honestly if we lose am not going to be surprised in fact I will be shocked if we win and am being honest

I never said Nwabali isn't good or that Okoye hasn't disappointed in the past. My point is that Okoye has improved and is a better version of himself. Is he better than Nwabali? I don't know and won't attempt to answer that.

Chai NFF, JP, and Finidi don turn all us to further maths exponents.

"if 2x = 3b then by calculating the square root of 5g we get 444" grin

minfelix:
if they decide to deduct points from all second placed teams, walai 9ja will qualify to the play off at best…lest just win our 3games and gather that 19 points and maybe hope zimbabwe remains at the bottom of the table…cos we just took 2points from them…

you see all those other teams like Gabon,Cameroon,Burkina faso and senegal queuing up in that 4place spot…the rate at which all of them will fall off that table and have Nigeria climbing them will be so brutal🤣🤣🤣🤣…cos they have all taken 6points from their various bottom place teams

Not as bad a performance as I initially knocked them for.

Osimhen's goal should have stood from the highlights.
Nah! Osimhen was off

SA away? After CHAN Nigeria hasn't beaten them on their ground bar in 10 years. A team that has beaten Morocco and Ghana on their home turf is not to be underestimated.

Realistically a draw is what looks odds on to happen but I'm very optimistic we can snatch an unlikely win.

Did you watch the Russia friendly? If you didn't, please go and watch the highlights and return to give your verdict on Okoye.
I don't make assumption on a player only by one friendly match. Could Okoye have put out such performance that Nwabali had in the AFCON?

Foe a fact, Nwabali is better then at least 70% of the GKs in the Premier League. That guy is good enough to be the GK of any elite football team. If he was white or light- skinned he would have left Africa.
God bless you. I been talk am say he go enter starting XI of Manchester United without stress. Because neither Onana nor Bayindir is better than him.

Over reliance on Osimhen for goals limits us.
I'm not saying we won't beat South Africa on Tuesday, but this one na lie. We played without Osimhen for 75% of the total games we've played so far and scored only FOUR goals, winning NONE of those matches - South Africa inclusive.

So this one na cap.

Every match against the bottom placed teams in the groups apart from the group that has 5 teams will be discounted. In the case of our group, the 2 points we got versus Zimbabwe will be removed, if we finish 2nd. For Gabon in group F, the 6 points the got from Seychelles will be discontinued. This will be done after all the matches are concluded. By then we will see who finished 2nd in all the groups and who finished last. This method has been consistently been adopted by FIFA, UEFA and CAF previously. I think if we win all our matches we will be among the best runner up 100%, but any slip ups will be dicey
This needs to be explored more on here. This is much more certain than SA being deducted 3 points for Mokoena

Funny enough this eagles team play better away, why? I don’t know, they know how to win away and play better, that should scare South Africa.

Logically I think it would end in a score draw, or even goalless, but South Africa might just end up loosing this game, it would have been better if they were playing an over confident Nigeria team, but this Nigeria team might just beat them 2-0…

That point would be removed, I don’t know why Nigerians stomach anyhow ness and even suggest it, people broke standard rules with consequences, so why shouldn’t they be punished?

That’s why this country is probably the way it is, you think if it’s Algeria or Morocco in our shoes South African will not already be jittery?, they will make sure the right thing is done, but see Nigerians all over still second guessing all over the internet ?like why wouldn’t it be removed? Because? In Nigeria people break laws and go unpunished, and we are out there projecting our poor values and systemic inadequacy. Thankfully the whole world is not Nigeria, South Africa will be punished and probably fined.

England vs Germany, Germany play a suspended player, the news will be on repeat on all sport stations, but our journalists are not even sure, they can’t even say it with confidence South Africa point will be deducted to give more spotlight and force the FIFa to protect their integrity, such poor sports journalists that can’t do any research and play the politics of sport journalism.

You play a suspended player, you already cheated, and you will pay for it, it’s standard protocol.

In a bid to water down my point, you ended up agreeing with me 💯.

We were incapacitated in the absence of Osimhen because we over rely on Osimhen to get us goals.

What that simply means, is that our over reliance on Osimhen renders the team almost useless when there is no Osimhen. We need to learn to vary things so that we don't win only when Osimhen is around. The team should learn to bear the goal scoring burden both in the presence and absence of Osimhen. They should stop putting the whole goal scoring burden on Osimhen. Don't you get the point?

Once again, our over reliance on Osimhen limits the team, and I'm already seeing signs that Chelle has noticed that and working on it.

I need a team where we would be having about 3 different names in the score sheet on a match day, not a team where once Osimhen is caged, the team becomes impotent.
