He needs to be talked to, cos I’ve seen pics of his rage too in the SA league for his club.

I just hope he’s fully recovered from the loss of his parents as that’s no fluke at all, he may need a personal psychologist to examine him and help him through any silent struggles he might have
The matter that led to the yellow card was a response to the aggression of that Rwandan. We can call it overreaction but it wasn't out of thin air.

If that's where they played Lesotho, the grass is okay.

SA is a ball playing team.

Our boys just landed at the South African airport and are currently stuck at the airport. Are we getting a replay of the Libyan fiasco last year

I heard that they moved their games there because of fans. Jo'burg was too woke and they needed where they could gather plenty people to intimidate opposition.

Abi na that shot dem fire okoye from midfield.
And gone are the days when fear dey always catch me whenever there is corner kick against us.

But all we are saying is he should be calming down sometimes.

He could have just only complained to that Rwandan striker without pushing him, even Osimhen has learned to be more professional,
there was a moment when he was roughly kicked by a defender, instead of confronting the guy,he simply lay down on the ground, that was a smarter move.

Not just that, two more incidents happened that VAR would have certainly reviewed especially the first.

Maybe it would be a good thing if Benin beat Lesotho...cus if we beat South Africa, Benin will be 2 points behind South Africa, and maybe it will ginger them to put pressure on FIFA to deduct SA's 3 points... then if that happens, it will be up to us to beat them in our next game to seal qualification...

Lots of "if" and "maybe"....
That's a good point. But we still need SA to drop one more point within the last two games after we might have beaten them and FIFA deducting the 3points if not, we will be equal on 19 points each and remember they have a very superior Goal Difference. They can still edge us through that.

Why you do not think we can qualify?
It's 50-50 chance, all we have to do is to win SA and chances will automatically be in our favor.

Personally I don't think SA can win us even without Osimhen, highest thing they can do is to get a draw, and that's what should be their game plan,if they try otherwise it will backfire against them.

Even when Iwobi is deployed to the No. 10 role, he still have to drop deep to function as a deep lying playmaker, thus the strikers are staved of creativity in the final third, and when he goes forward, no deep lying playmaker to play from back.
To get the best from him, he must be left to always play close to the strikers, and a deep lying player maker should feature behind him to play and supply from the back. Iwobi can't be in two places at the same time.
This is why I expected Onyedika to pair Ndidi since we don't have somebody like Mikel for now.

We have to match the South Africans in creative football as well, keep possession of the ball and prevent them playing their "Spanish tiki taka" as BankyGee mentioned.

And Iwobi should not pair Ndidi in holding midfield role like what happened in the second half at Uyo if we don't want our midfield to be overrun by the South Africans, he should play closer with the attackers in the final third.

Playing him in side by side with Ndidi is like playing Juan Mata or Ozil there.

It was said that Eric Chelle tried to raise the mentality of the players.
I commend him highly for that.
Mentality can be everything

However our tactical approach to the game against Rhwanda was ill informed and undeveloped. I don't want anybody to feel bad, but honesty must be touched.

You can't breakdown a compact wall by trying to dribble your way through and firing shots hoping that one will result to a goal.
At least two or three failed attempts should have made you reconsider your approach.

To breakdown a low block you will need to move the ball from side to side to see if you can distort the opponent's defensive shape. I thought that was what we were about to implement when we overloaded our left hand side of attack, I thought of a quickly switch to the right to see if we can get an open shot at goal, but nah, we tried to waltz through a crowded space on the left.
The Rwandans defended in zones and this helped their goalkeeper a lot.

We have the midfielders that can break down a low block. Alex Iwobi excels in that, Raphael Onyedika, Fisayo Dele Bashiru are all tidy in their passes.

I must commend the experience that Iwobi and Ndidi brought to the middle game. These guys impressed massively yesterday.

This whole Eritrea situation totally changes everything. While a 1st place finish is out of our hands, we are surely in the drivers seat when it comes to finishing as one of the best 2nd place teams.
