Let's be objective here... this lineup gets relegated from the premier league.

If your best defender is a washed Spurs player they were fighting over themselves to get rid off, your best midfield pair consists of a retiree and a flop in Arsenal's banter era, and your second most notable attacker is Leroy Sane in big 2025, I'm sorry bro. That doesn't cut it for the UCL, the most competitive club football tournament in the world.

They might smuggle one or two home wins from their stadium atmosphere, but there are levels to football.
Didn't take long to see this in action.

Spain with UCL level players just destroyed a Turkey with 3/5 of its backline as current Gala starters.

There are levels to this game.

It is because Russia refused to play a defensive game. They decided to just attack and play a normal game but Spains individual quality and attack and midfield were too strong for them. Watched the first half and i thought it would end up being 6 2 or something llike that. Turkey should have played a defensive game and locked up. At least if they lost it will be by one or two goals. You cant play attacking football with Spain if you are not portugal, brazil, italy etc.
Turkey does not just have the players to stand up to them. they just have like 4 outstanding players and the rest are Turkish league players

Nwabali is an excellent shot stopper. Good with his feet. Launches attacks with his big arm throws. How is any of these poor GK skills?

elyte89:
Nwabali confidence level is very high Dan his ability…hence we don’t tend to notice his poor gk skills

Nigeria definitely has a chance to win - and here's why they could pull it off:

Nigeria's Quality Factor: Despite their inconsistency, Nigeria still has significantly more individual talent. Players like Ademola Lookman, and others playing in top European leagues can create moments of magic that change games instantly. Sometimes in football, pure quality overcomes tactical setups.

Desperation Can Be Powerful: When Nigeria's backs are truly against the wall, they've historically found ways to respond. The pressure could actually galvanize them rather than paralyze them. They know this is essentially a must-win game.

South Africa's Nerves: Being so close to World Cup qualification could make South Africa tighten up. They might play not to lose rather than to win, which could invite pressure and give Nigeria more control of the game.

Counter-Attack Vulnerability: If South Africa sits back (which they likely will), Nigeria has the pace and skill to hurt them on quick transitions. One well-worked move could break the game open.

Set Piece Threat: Nigeria has tall, athletic players who are dangerous from corners and free kicks. In a tight game, dead ball situations often decide matches.

Realistic Scenario for Nigeria Win: Nigeria 2-1 South Africa - they start nervously, South Africa takes an early lead, but Nigeria's quality shows in the second half with two quick goals that South Africa can't respond to.I'd say Nigeria has about a 35-40% chance of winning. Not favorites, but definitely capable of getting the result

Take it or leave it JPs tacrics is still the best so far. He was getting results bro!

Scoring against us was almost possible!

Imagine a team with a concrete defense, crowded midfield, fast wingbacks and two deadly forwads. We became a nightmare in the AFCON because of this and we should have continued from there.
Zimbabwe and Lesotho scored against us under Paseiro . " he was getting results " What kind of results ? Draw against Zimbabwe and Lesotho?

Exactly. He is an amateur player . An experienced player would have fall and roll on the floor. That would have been a red car for Nwabili

We need to win all matches to have a better chance for qualification by topping or playoff . I have confirmed all points from the bottom teams will be cancelled by CAF. Since Eritrea withdrawal Group E have 5 teams . To balance up all points from bottom teams will be cancelled. Our points will reduce to 7points . Team like Gabon will have 6 points yanked off , Burkina Faso 6 points against Djibouti will be canceled. While we lose just 2points . The gap will definitely reduce . We just need to win all our matches . Points from bottom teams like Chad , Seychelles will be cancelled .

The equation is simple

if (Nigeria.beats(SouthAfrica) == TRUE)
{
Result = "Qualify";
}
else
{
Result = "Eliminated";
}

well, I give bruno kudos for that.

BankyGee:
The secondary is like the pre-assist? If it's that one, it's Bruno Onyemaechi.

Aina's wasn't counted as an assist seff be like e hit Rwandan player before Tolu smack am in.

this one go need several "else if" statement o

owbabs:
The equation is simple

if (Nigeria.beats(SouthAfrica) == TRUE)
{
Result = "Qualify";
}
else
{
Result = "Eliminated";
}

If I could tell our players one thing. It is to play for pride in South Africa.

Yes we must win, but that should not be the focus else it would add so much pressure on us. Playing for pride puts us at a better position psychologically to get the win we need. Go show them we are Nigeria.

It is now computer programming.
From mathematical analysis. Now you are writing code to implement the maths. Soon, we will need neural networks as we move into artificial intelligence.
