Honestly, I don't see things getting better in this forced Geographical Contraption called Nigeria. Let's just dissolve the Contraption, and let Ethnic Nationalities ready to unite & work together in Nation Building remain together. |

Another excuse to jack up the prices of fuel. The ripple effect will be the high cost of transportation which will affect the average Nigerian. |

As a worker, it's a right to join union but it's not a must you join a union. PENGASSAN AND NUPENG trying to ensure or force dangote staff to join their union is illegal as it is illegal for dangote to stop her staff from joining any union. If I were to be dangote, I will offer incentives for not join either PENGASSAN OR NUPENG. They can unionise amongst themselves but shouldn't join this 2 greedy unions that have held nigeria to ransome. |

This ia the exact jeopardy Dangote is trying to be immune Nupeng and FG have nothing to lose, no investment no loan,. strike or no strike there salary come complete Whereas Dangote inbetween is the one that we suffer the unseriousness of these two when dey decide to play one man aside .. he has targets n loans to meet up |

Zico5:Are some of you born naturally unfair or is it that reading, to gain information, is to you like a cross is Dracula? What does this have to do with the FG? It is a rift between Dangote Refinery and NUPENG over Union registration for Dangote Refinery workers simply because NUPENG want Dangote workers under their banner and control. The reason is obvious because virtually all organisations in Nigeria are blackmailers worse than those they claim to be fighting. If NUPENG forces a petrol strike, Dangote can still continue supplying Petrol because his workers, not under NUPENG, are not obligated to join the strike. NUPENG simply want the dictatorial power to be able to cripple Nigeria at will or even for political purposes. We saw Joe Ajaero, leader of the Nigerian Labour Congress, engaging in similar antics. Like a poster said earlier, and because of people like you, best Nigerians go their separate ways and manage themselves along regional lines. https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/strike-continues-says-nupeng-over-dangote-labour-dispute/%3famp The National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers on Tuesday vowed to continue its nationwide strike after the collapse of the conciliation meeting organised by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammad Dingyadi, to settle the crisis between the union and the Dangote refinery on Monday. |

Someone commenting here asked what is the real issue. Let me summarize: Dangote wants full control over the drivers of his tankers. The good? 1. He can hire and fire them if they don't drive well. 2. He can monitor their locations and activities remotely. The bad? 1. Nunpeng has realized he would cut off their relevance as an association to both his operations and the Nigerian government. Imagine the biggest player in the industry not needing you for his operations. That's a real dent in their reputation. 2. Nunpeng will have no direct control over Dangote drivers and this might snowball into other industry players cutting them off too. Hmmmm. My suggestion? Dangote should contract out the operations to a 3rd party like IGI logistics, with the workers becoming like contractors or consultants. But I suspect Nunpeng will still not allow them anyway. |

I hope Dangote doesn't cede grounds to the fake unions. All they know is how to inflate the cost of petroleum products. The only protect the interests of their member, and not the Nigerian public. |

Time to dismantle these cabals that have hold Nigerians to juggler for a long time in the name of independent oil marketers that wanted a little of PMS sold above 1500. |

4words:Your head get better oil. PENGASSAN AND NUPENG have been doing this rubbish for so long with NNPC that they didn't even consider that Dangote is a private establishment that needs great support for employing more people into the sector they are regulators in. Imagine ooo. They are regulators not companies ooo. Very silly people. It is like Christian Association of Nigeria fighting a growing church because the pastor didn't give them a permanent office in his church. Their priority should be making sure he is winning souls. Then, to encourage him to treat the people with him well. And, to freaking leave him alone to do his work. |
