iamnlia:The applicants have to present their bank statements. If the visit is not urgent, then they need to build their accounts to make it organized. That should take 1 or 2 months. |

Happy new week my good people, Please, I would appreciate if those that had recieved the UKVI message that read... "we cannot make a decision on your visa application within the established processing times", can tell us how many days/weeks it took for them to get a decision. Only primary experience needed. Thanks |

iamnlia:I believe it's important for visa applicants to submit their own bank statements plus evidence of employment even if they have sponsors who have committed to covering their travel expenses. By supplying these documents, they are trying to demonstrate to the visa officer that they can support themselves during the trip, are not dependent on public funds in the UK, and intend to return home after the trip. |

Racheal45:Your visit visa is sufficient for a course of less than 6 months. |

Hello everyone, I need your opinion on my application. I am close to submission but regarding the question I asked some days back, am still yet to get any concrete response on my explaining my financial situation in non-confusing and non-contradictory terms to the ECO; I have included the page of my financial situation on the application: My salary is 500k monthly after tax. But I have additional earnings from my hair and makeup studio, rental payments and investments, and it's reflected on my bank statement. But I spend more than the 500k salary monthly. For my UK trip, I estimated my expenses to be £1000 for a week trip. Hope it's not too much or small? My savings as reflected on my 4 month bank statement is what I put on the portal as well. It has a large opening balance. Looking at the details below, do you think the financial situation is easy to understand or logical enough for the ECO?. I will be spending less than 15% of my total savings for the trip. My economic ties are my job, family, my business, and the 2 piece of property I have. I receive rent for one why the other is being developed.

Good Morning All, I am applying for a visit visa for December 20 - January 3rd. My Brother in law is the sponsor and he is the one doing the application. I will be staying with them for the duration of my stay. In the column where it is asked how much i plan to spend personally will it include everything i plan to spend including my sponsor's spend? Also is it ok to state that i personally plan to spend 1500 when i have a balance of 7m in my account? My brother in law is fully sponsoring the trip (including air fare, accommodation etc) Please note i have had two denials prior due to a low bank balance for the first and large deposit the second even though i was partially sponsored. The denials were in 2023 October/November. The large deposit was from a mutual fund i broke to show that i had the funds after the first refusal. Any pointers will be highly appreciated |

nocodeboss:Just write that you will personally spend 100 pounds while your sponsor will spend the rest of the expenses. |

Good Morning All. Since the PHC submission center is designated as a Premium location, and Document Assistance services are included as part of the package, I would like to confirm if it is still possible for me to self-upload my documents instead. If this is possible, then how can i go about it. Thank you. |

Juxen:If you have paid for your visa, you can check it by yourself. You can check if the self upload is available before you proceed to pay for biometrics. |

Good afternoon house, please I have a question my fixed deposit maturity date is November 9, 2025, while I'm hoping to apply for UK visit first week of November. My concern is that the money on fixed deposit may drop to my account before my biometric day hope this will not cause any issue on the application. |

Ayobami227:Reduce your monthly expenses to 100k or 150k at most. The ratio of your monthly expenses to income is too high. Visa officers are trained to assess the affordability of your visit in relation to your overall financial situation in your home country. Although a healthy bank balance is beneficial, but caseworkers typically consider more factors when evaluating the financial status of visa applicants. They will examine your monthly income and expenses to evaluate your financial stability and genuine intent. While your monthly income is good, your monthly expenses is too high. |
