Ekong was so far behind his marker that the South African thought he was passing to his teammate

FIFA/CAF actually moved this match here claiming the other pitch is in bad shape. The politics is massive!
Who's your CAF president? grin

Own goal from Ekong. I won't blame him much. That midfield is useless. Bassey should have also done better.

Pace.. Always been their trumpcard. We can't match their pace and Hugo Broos knows and he exploits it all the time

Una wey dey find experience, I hope you have seen the power of experience. Wehdone.

I wanted to say it when I saw the line-up but I know say analysts and specialists go choke for my comments.

Lol. We keep watching.

They told Chelle to bench Ekong, he said NO. He rather bench Uche, Onyedika and Tolu.
Moses Simon is another washed up player.
Thank God, I'm very sure after this disastrous qualifiers, it may likely be the end of Ekong and Simon in the SE

Is our coach blind or something?

How do you keep attacking from ineffective left hand because you like Moses, from that side over and over I can’t believe the cluelessness

it has nothing to do with pace...

A younger player than Ekong won't have a problem with pace and running back and clearing properly..

Blame him,not the first or second own goal from Ekong,he made the starting XI based on his experience so why the pressure on him, even Frederick was well compose....I just hope he salvage the situation

I believe if south Africa win this match today, FIFA will now have the courage to deduct the 3points.

South Africa are really deceptive duckers.

This is not even a football stadium. It's the home of a rugby team.

It's last use was not even for a sporting event, but a party: FAMFEST 2025

This is genuinely one of the worst nations on earth
