Iwobi needs to up his game. With Lookman and Simon drifting to the left, the responsibility majorly falls on him to quickly switch attack to the right where Fisayo is waiting with acres of space around him. I can count like 3 scenarios in the last 15 minutes of the first half where he chose to pass the ball to Simon.

BTW, Tolu needs to come in for Dessers please. And one of Simon/Lookman should go out for Uche. We need more body in midfield.
This has been one of my major points earlier today but hey some will say you’re singling him out

Im noticing a pattern here
Chelle first half is always terrible
Looking forward to better second half
Make him take time with that nonsense

If he needs to be breathing down NFF's throat to ensure camp opens earlier so the boys can train with his tactics, he should start that.

Luck will run out

Well that could be the case, but I think it's a fitness issue.

Replcing Ndidi might be a bad idea because he brings some form of stability that's not really visible
COOL10:
We need a destroyer in that midfield that can either help or replace Ndidi, perhaps Onyedika.

Dele Bashiru was also non-existent until he gave the assist for that goal. Chrisantus Uche should probably replace him in the 60th minute.

Our midfield didn't create anything for our strikers and neither did our wingers. Moses Simon has been disappointing to say the least.

I couldn't count how many times Dessers made diagonal runs into the half space but Iwobi, Lookman and Moses didn't give him the ball, neither did anyone even try to take advantage of the space he created by dragging about two defenders with him.

Frederick has been amazing.

He started well but fell off as the match progressed. If he's not being replaced then it has to be Dele Bashiru going off for either Onyedika or Uche.

Granted we haven't been played spectacularly but SA too have been subpar.

Seems Bafana's game plan is not to lose rather than to win, and qualify.

45 more minutes to play but I hope we win.

What a chance missed by Tolu, albeit from a tight angle. He should have passed instead.

He created that out of nothing.
Going for goal was the right idea. Just lacked execution.
