We have a team now.. We may be out of the world Cup, but we have a very strong team.. Strong enough to win the AFCON Kudos to the South Africans, they gave everything today.. When did SA become so physical? They fought for every ball.. Nullified Moses and Lookman They truly deserve to qualify.. Weldone Chelle.. Our team is taking shape.. We will be back.. Let's fight for second place and see if we can make the playoffs |

Was the ref biased? Obviously. Was his bias enough to have prevented us from winning? Absolutely not. We just got a lot of things wrong. Sad but that's just reality. |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by JohnBullMySon: 7:05pm On Sep 09, 2025 |
Sugarboyy:Abeg jare. Na una no wan dey realistic. The game was a step up from Rwanda, but to beat this RSA team in this form at home is near impossible. Another thing you guys don't see is that the fear of point deduction is putting SA under pressure to keep getting results till it doesn't matter anymore. Thats why they played the way they did. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Openair: 7:05pm On Sep 09, 2025 |
These super eagles should go rest...we need a team not a collection individual players that can not play with themselves..we should try home based players, maybe they'll have the time and discipline to build and play as a team.. For this sa match ehn... The two teams performed below par jare.. |

Sugarboyy:Bro, what has happened has happened if you look at it critically all odds are against us from changing coaches like pure water and key players getting injuries during important games... All odds are against us |

QueenJazz:I made this comment about 4 hours before kick-off and that's exactly what happened during the last 20 minutes of the game. Good build up, atrocious finishing. |

I remember the good, not-so-old days. We haven't qualified for the World Cup since we sacked this man. ![]()
