Lookman was really underwhelming throughout this Afcon
No impact. If he takes 10 shots at the goalkeeper, about 7 of them get blocked.

Chelle team can face any team in the worldcup…….with the way Chelle is ruthlessly reinforcing super eagles our future is safe
Exactly
I'm excited thinking of the future of our team
I just pray they allow him work freely
He needs to remove the dead woods

I just don't like how he's not using Onyedika
But then with the way Ndidi is playing, I have no complaints!

If benjamin Francis can play like this he just newly started playing in Belgium, he has been in Brentford b team.
So there's a possibility thier are some Nigeria players in Team B in different clubs around, that can even do well when give the opportunity to play for the National team.
Francis is not a big defender I was afraid the South Africans will bullied him in today's game.
Football is not how big or strong you are , is just a gift.
they will tell you that their time will come that those players are too young to play for the SE.

And has garnered two times the ponts we got from two different coach in 4 games

Ekong needs to go
Simon Moses needs to Bleep off
Eguavoen needs to resign NOW, like right now
70% of these players should never be called up ever again.
Time to build the team around Tolu, Benjamin Frederick, Bassey, Felix Agu and others like Onyedika, Dele-Bashiru; then keep only Osimhen, Nwabali and Aina...na one eye we go use dey look Lookman but he was match rusty due to club inactivity.

We can see more of Uche Christiantus cause he hasn't really had enough time to show his quality.

Time to rebuild around the best core of players we can unearth and use the AFCON and start afresh.

Our FA is weak
We no get mouth for Africa again..

I remember those years Enyimba won the CafCL, Orji Uzo Kalu played all the necessary politics..

Gusau is a weak president of a weak FA
Now we know we enjoyed Hayatu, the Cameroonian. Pinnick helped take CAF to Southern Africa. I doubt those guys will release it soon.
Now this zonal youth tournament qualification is helping expose their teams. Very soon all of them will be strong team too.
That's the tournament West Africa use to produce players mostly. We have limited slot now.

He's another player who failed Chelle..
And I know, it would have been somehow to put the current APOTY on the bench
But I believe Chelle has learned his lesson

I no get anything against Chelle sha but normally the squad would still have improved under any other coach as the reality of the situation became more obvious.

It’s a normal thing that happens to big teams when they drop points early on.

Fredrick was a youth player at Brentford when he was invited to play in the Unity cup. If the coach had not giving him the chance, we wouldn't have seen how good he is. It is time to ease out underperforming players in the team and give fresh legs a chance.
Raphel onyedika is one player I always feel sad for, in 2025 we shouldn't still be starting Ndidi as our Dm, when we have onyedika sitting on the bench

na they would deduct two points from nigeria as we drew home and away with the least team on the table and the other teams that won home and away against the least team in the table they would deduct 6 points because of eritrea withrawal but the chances are quite slim even with that also
it's well o undecided

Somehow Nigeria might qualify, Lesotho will get proper hiding in uyo , everyone wants to okay rough against Nigeria now, but the will get it…

My problem is the Benin game, that’s going to be tough, very tough…

What if South Africa draws or loose two matches? Then get 3 points which will obviously be removed later.

There is is still a lot to play for.

Please tell us those teams he played. Couldn't beat a lowly ZIM at home, Rwanda home game could have easily ended in a draw. couldn't beat an ordinary SA team in a must win match despite the Europe based stars at his disposal. Is that what you're applauding?

That is pure mediocrity.

Is this set of players that include 2 African bests no deserving of a grade B coach?
Im not a fan but why was Amunike not given a half chance instead of Finidi??

Player for player most of these players in our group can't lace the boots od our players so why are we struggling so much against them??

The last 10 minutes of that match was so embarrassing! African local players running rings around our team, pinning us back when the reverse is supposed to be the case.😂

See Eric Chelle falling for cheap antics from opposing coach to make him angry amd lose focus in the crucial moments od the match. Chai!😥

We are playing Lesotho in South Africa not Uyo. They drew us in Uyo match day 1. They scored first we managed to equalise.

Benin is in Uyo. It's the game that will determine who gets 2nd spot if we win Lesotho in South Africa.

The current predicament isn't on Sekou Chelle.

Too many "if's" but the best he can do is win the remaining games and prepare well for AFCON.

It is abominable that the SE have bottled it when Africa will be represented by twice the previous number of teams .

Those dimwits in the NFF/NSC have done Nigerians dirty.

I sight 94set.
Waiting for this moment.
They called for Finidi. From this comment I can sense this one is calling for Amunike.
When will you guys leave Super Eagles alone and look for coaching job elsewhere?
