guy, me and my bro were just talking about this thing this evening... I'm even shocked coming on nairaland and seeing a thread about it...

We were like "how did we get to this point in this country where the only groundnut oil we can afford is satchet oil and small plastic bottles? Wey be say before, na inside tin can we dey buy groundnut oil store for house?"

As in, this was in every single household! Hardly did anybody use any other oil aside from this nau. Look at us now? Struggling to even buy bottle groundnut oilcry

I cry for my country everyday 😭

The last time I used this oil was year 2002 back then in OAU, Ife. I remember 3 of us in my hostel bought a gallon and share it. I can't remember the actual price again but it wasn't up to 1k. Only God knows how much it will cost now if it is still available in the market.
I saw it yesterday at the super market though I didn't ask for it price
