Zimbabwe will definitely finish last with or without the 3 points
they are on 4 points , lesotho is on 6. Zim is playing against south africa and we are playing lesotho. If they both lose, they will still be on same points. Heading to final week, Lesotho has to win or draw against zimbabwe in other for zimbabwe to be last otherwise lesotho will finish last if zimbabwe win. That is why that point deduction needs to happen before the qualifiers next month unless issues go sup.

The last time we played in Uyo, and even with all our "disgression" and "failing to maintain," you still couldn't beat us.

Over there in Bloemfontein, our coach made a tactical blunder, our captain scored an own goal, and our overall gameplay was terrible. But with all your "progress" and "cohesiveness," the best you could manage was a "measly draw" against that circus.

The head-to-head record still shows that out of 17 games, you have only won 2 while we have won 8. 😭😭😭😭
Now, this pig farm analogy you brought. I love it! You're right. You are the builder, the meticulous, slow-moving civil servant who wants to follow all the rules and processes. You want to study local laws, build the pig pen, buy the necessary machinery, and hire the experts. And what does all that "structure" and "planning" give you? A team that gets on a bus and still can't get a clean win against our own team of "roaming street pigs."

We are the ones with plenty of pigs and no structure, no feed, and no ready market, and yet our "roaming street pigs" are the ones dominating the market and being sold for millions to European clubs. You have all the fancy academies, all the youth programs with the Premier League, all the infrastructure, but you still cannot produce the kind of talent we do with our chaos and confusion.

So who is the REAL parasite, my sister? Is it the one who has to build a complete pig farm to produce one average pig, or the one who is making profit with no expenses? 🤔🤔

You are the one who is on edge. We know that on our best day, with our talent, we will beat you anytime, any day, even when we are sleeping. The fact that you are celebrating a draw and calling it progress just shows how low the bar has been set for you.
You can go ahead and collect your "participation awards," my dear. We collect real, actual and tangible trophies and we use them to bolster our museum. You haven't had the chance to know how that feels since 1996. You probably weren't even born then so it's likely you've never experienced South Africa winning a single trophy in your lifetime. 🥲🥲🤣🤣
Your World Cup qualification is a trophy you will cherish for life. We have qualified for the World Cup so many times, we use them as tablemats. Go on and enjoy your trip to the USA. We will be there. And we will be pointing and laughing at you when go back home with nothing to show for it. 🤣🤣
Nigeria and SA have met 13 times and you won only six ( most of those wins when we were still a very weak team and you had brought all your best international stars ) ...basically you were at your strongest.

The more we developed the less wins you had ,infact it will be a miracle if you ever win against us again ( without going to penalties...more of a game of luck than anything )😅😅. In time ,we are going to trash you mercilessly and you can see it 😅😅.

And in Bloem our team was filled with inexperienced players as young as 19 who have never played for the national team before but they managed to refuse your well experienced global stars the much needed win😅. So no,this isn't just a draw ...that was us slamming the door on your face 😅. That was the most important match we have ever played together and it ended in a draw signaling the future....out with the old and in with the new 😅.

That's just the thing about roaming pigs...they'll always be loyal and docile to anyone who feeds them not necessarily the owner...others will steal your pigs to make good cash while you the initial producer remain in poverty. With all the stars you have in Europe, Nigeria football is deteriorating and your league still remains poor and disorganised even losing sleep over up & coming local champions 😅😅. This is what you get when don't build a good foundation for your pigs ...their quality will be an advantage to others not you . The likes of Victor only came to that competition so that they won't be bullied online😅...he had to run back to the owner who feeds him to make the owner some money instead of being worthless quality in your team 😅.

Again ,you missed the point, we want to have a league that can rival those in Western Europe in pay and everything not have our players dying to play for them ...that's what I meant by parasites ....always waiting for others to build so that you can come in and consume lol.
Infact our league only competes with the two North African bests interms quality pay, structure, organization and all.....we just need to continue getting better on the field so we can take on Morocco comfortably...we have beaten them a couple of times ...we need more lol . Where is your own league where even your avarage player can play ? Europe?. It's you who will always have that one in a thousand players make it and the rest of your talented kids end up being gutter cleaners because Europeans didn't come pick them up from the streets . Where would Nwabali be if our league didn't come to the rescue ?. Which team from your league could you have sent to represent Nigeria on the recently concluded club world cup tournament....a European team ?😅.

Your whole nation was on edge for a chance to collect that tablemat once again, and you failed just like in almost everything else.....so as long as you'll be laughing bitterly, knowing fully well that you failed to even be there ...that's perfectly fine with us lol. The whole continent and world watched how you your stars struggled even against Zimbos😅😅...

someone here was saying that we should not bother about South Africa having their points deducted again when it’s even more important now, if Lesotho gets that point, they automatically top Zimbabwe no matter what happens, and if we finish second, we go to playoffs by having just two points removed.

Nigerians need to start having critical and sharp analytics skills of North African and even South Africa when it comes to sport, we are too docile, we don’t even know how to pick on technicalities, on the global stage a lot of teams are using technical knockouts off the the pitch to give themselves an edge when they can, you think Suarez using a hand to remove a goal in a quarter finals is not technicalities, France breaking onazi legs in a game, South Africa playing 7 homes games and so many others are not technicalities, let’s be playing while teams that are smart get the edge in technicalities.

We still have a chance instead of journalists and fans to be making a point , people are saying let’s move in to Afcon, like you are so sure of winning Afcon. Very docile group, only to criticize and criticize our players that’s why NFF don’t feel the need to work, after all the defeatist will blame player and coach and move on to the next project.
AFCON that Morroco will likely win, with their current form and they are hosts. And why cant we even host AFCON? Well thats the discussion for another day.

I have draw the scenarios in all the groups, if we win our 2 matches we will overtake Benin and have enough points to overtake other groups runners up, I think only Gabon and somehow Cameroon that looks a tricky will be better placed, because they themselves got only 4 points from Eswatini, the rest of the groups most of the second placed teams trounced the bottom teams with big margins home and away. Nigeria only got 2 points from Zimbabwe, awarding Lesotho the points from SA will root Zimbabwe firmly bottom.

And trust me, I know a lot of people are doubtful, If we get into the playoffs we will beat the teams there.
In the intercontinental playoffs 2 teams will qualify and with our current FIFA rankings Bolivia and Caledonian who have qualified are below us. No European team in the playoffs, the other eligible teams from CONCACAF and Asia about to qualify are the likes of Indonesia, UAE, Trinidad and Tobago, Elsalvador, Qatar and Iraq, we are far above them in FIFA rankings so we will play only 1 match. Therefore, What is just holding us now is to pressure CAF to adopt that rule finish. Most of the NFF technical committee members don’t even know this, thats the sad part.

It was Fisayo who dropped the assist watch it again.

Osayi doesn't do anything that raises the level of the team. Does he drop regular assists? Does he cross well? Once in a while goal nko? Plus his defending is suspect. If the home based Sodiq was a solid fullback I would take him in an instant cos at least I've seen him deliver better crosses.

Ndidi is past it. On one hand can you name any particular game he was outstanding for the SE? I agree about Raphael can't understand why he hasn't been given a run of games. Is he so poor in comparison to Ndidi?

Yes coaches might be missing a trick when it comes to our midfield combinations but the personnel themselves haven't covered themselves in glory.

Odunayaw:
Osayi dropped the assist o. He is exonerated. You forget his wing was moribund for much of first half because the boys kept playing on the left.
For me, I'm not in a hurry to discard Ndidi. The problem is our coaches doing the same thing and expecting different results. I do not understand why Onyedika doesn't start. Thesupernerd has written too much on the subject of midfield combinations.

Truly, our MF should not be as disappointing as it is

It's way too early for these clowns to be bantering us in football. When we want to talk about real rivals who give us a tough time, we have Ghana and Cameroon. Those are our consistent rivals. Heck, we'll even call Ivory Coast and Morocco before we talk of SA.

We've had consistent spells of bad performances and real rivals have capitalized on those moments to at least match our record.

When last did South Africa beat Nigeria in a competitive game?
How many times have South Africa been to the World Cup and how many times have they managed to get past the group stage?

If not for hosting rights, the last time South Africa saw the World Cup, we were still in the 20th Century. Haibo, no wonder Lioness is so overwhelmed with emotions. 😭😭😭😭😭

Lionessza6, you should know better than to banter with your betters. Get your records up and then we can talk. You guys are on the right path, but you're not there yet. And once we put our house in order, you'll never get there. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
grin grin grin grin You are still wailing and singing " in my time"? grin grin grin

With all that glory ....you still have one of the most poor, disorganised and underdeveloped leagues in Africa? grin grin. What's the use of piling up worthless trophies when there's no hope for the future?

Nigerians even today still need to struggle to get into Europe to ever live the comfortable life of a footballer....imagine! But alteast they have photos and medals to console and compensate the young ones they have let down by not building up a league that could cater for their talents Smh.

And we will continue to be subdued if time is not taken in fact the next time we are bullied again by any other country I go just switch off cos it’s foolish trying to win clean when your opponents is not clean or trying to be clean in any way.

Imagine Nigeria playing 7 games in Nigeria during a wcq the entire continent will finally crown us as the global headquarters of corruption, we can’t do it but others can, rubbish.
I swear. That gave SA an unfair advantage.

So are you telling me if Nigerian play 7 home games, played for 21 points in Nigeria, South Africa will allow it?

Or Nigeria will not top this group?

Be playing , no travels same altitude, same pitches, for a whole 21 points. We better start telling ourselves the truth that this place we find ourselves is 80% on NFF mediocrity.

Eric Chelle and the Super Eagles will be African Champs by January 18th, 2026 if the squad keeps morphing in the right direction.

Bassey and Benjamin need more games together.

Tolu needs a few more games to permanently cement himself as our 2nd striker after Obvious First Choice Osimhen.

Chelle has to a find a way to fit in Christantus Uche into the Starting XI and utilise Iwobi closer to the final third and not further away from it as a deeplying orchestrator.

Chelle should find the best midfield synergy from strongest to bench options.

Chelle has to also realise when to and when not to use Simon Moses. He is not meant for every opponent. There are days a Chukwueze will suffice rather than a Simon.
Exactly Doc! 💯

it will.. it has happened before, make una dey do research na.

So how is fifa going to be fair to the second team of that group? Where is the fair play if they did not get a chance, the last team of every group would have their point deducted from the second placed team, then we would have the real points. Let’s just hope we win our last two games , and Zimbabwe finish last, Nigeria goes to the play offs.

We fans and NFF need to be sharp in identifying this things, I am grateful to this technical fans that are always picking this things, they are the real MVP if we qualify. That’s why we have technical teams, but apparently the technical team of NFF don’t know their jobs, pick up this things.
im just so irritated at many people here who has this mumu emotion of “because we started poorly then we dont deserve the world cup

abeg make i hear word biko, today CIV has same afcon trophy with us, they started very very poorly and won the afcon same with Portugal winning 2016 Euro….
OGA HEAR ME AND HEAR ME CLEARLY, until there is no more option to exploit we will still keep pushing through, if there is any loop hole that is calculate-able to enable us qualify then we must explore it…
1. FIFA has to be fair to do the needful
2. Tanzania deserve fairness to compete with other second best teams

small thing we go start dey hear
“let us forget about tue world cup yen yen yen….
New caledonia
Curacao
Bolivia
and every teams wants to be at the world cup, we too wanna be there, wether by onfield qualification or off-field qualification….
make anyone wey don lost hope rest, abeg
SA
NIG
BEN
RWA
all can still qualify as group leader…Nigeria just show Rwanda how to play SA in their home(Fight for everyball and give yourselves blow on the pitch)

Rwanda will be fancying their chances to shock SA….2 games is enough to change a direction
