onile1975:Mr. Man, embassy doesn’t issue out visa based on the insurance company you used. All they expect is for the applicant to buy insurance policy with a minimum coverage of at least €30000. I have used Allianz and other insurance companies on multiple occasions to package visa applications for my spouse and my other family members. I remember I used a one month Allianz insurance policy to package my spouse’s visa application and she was granted a 3-year visa. |

onile1975:It doesn’t matter if a travel insurance policy is written in dollars or euros; as long as it meets the €30000 minimum coverage requirements, it is fine. |

Mobizl:Print all in coloured prevention is better than cure. |

Mobizl:I usually just print only my passport data page in colour. But if you are nervous about it, just print all your documents in colour if that makes you feel better. |

@hunee @Africankel Please I need your help gurus. Last year, I applied for France visa (Schengen) Short Stay (90 days) visa for a birthday function I was invited to but I was given a 1-month visa in return. I plan to apply again this year as I plan to spend some weeks in France by January next year. Do I qualify to apply for 90 days or more (Long stay) or do you advise I stick to Short stay again? What are my chances cuz I really wish to apply for a longer stay with multiple entries. Please advise. Thanks in anticipation. |

It is up to the visa officer to decide your visa validity. 1. Being a second time traveller, limit the duration of your trip to 1 week. 2. I do not think you should apply for longer stay, as that is specifically designed for people who intend to stay in Europe for more than three months - and you MUST show cause why you should be granted such. 3. You may still be granted a long validity visa (at the discretion of the visa officer). However, of granted, you are not allowed to stay more than three months. Ayodele20484: |

In addition, any reason to go to Europe must be substantiated with sufficient evidence. Even frequent travelers sometimes get rejected, your basis for traveling must be solid. Goodluck Africankel:@Ayodele20484 |

I like the fact that you are taking responsibility for your actions which is very magnanimous. Please be informed that on this space, a lot of unscrupulous people have taken advantage of others with similar things you are doing. If you want to apply for SA, stay with SA, Gather your info and PUSH. Be decisive. Visa shopping is an offense and can have severe consequences as Kel highlighted. onile1975:Fix your mind for one thing and pursue it. God bless and give results at the end of the day. Goodmorning |
