Let's do the maths, the vehicle is 24yrs or so Old, so the used toks you want to sell is probably used for 5yrs or more . Which means its lifespan is almost over.
My vehicle was toks 7yrs ago too.

Now, juxtapose the 120k with new China 150k. So, one can only be lucky if it was OEM installed few years ago.

And the guarantee you mentioned, how many years? Abi na for few months ? Cos, the difference in price isn't cool.

Just thinking out loud, if something happens after 31 days, I know you won't be comfortable asking me to buy another toks for 120k. You would rather advise I repair the faulty toks.

Have you checked out the AF fuse too as well as the AF relay. As someone has adviced above check wire integrity. A short would cause all this. A physical inspection would be required and I’m in Lagos also

It happened that i had over heating that got the gasket burnt. My mechanic fixed the burnt gasket and since then my car has not been doing slow. If it manages to do slow, when i go back to gear one, it goes off on the highway. Rewire and mechanic have both checked it, but it is still not doing slow and it goes off on gear one.

What can i do please? I have been battling with this for two weeks now

Replace mechanic, have someone else who's highly knowledgeable about suzuki Kei cars engines fix the engine for you.

Mechanic ddnt set timing correctly.

Spent a lot of money putting it together and making sure all is well but it is barely a month and the fuel consumption is scarily high and whenever i go long journey, the engine stalls a bit and the rpm drops to like 400 and eventually black smoke starts. Keep in mind i changed everything that was diagnosed from scanning all o2 sensors and other components except buy a catalyst. What could be wrong. Please help. Appreciate

Start by scanning the vehicle again then work with the codes given. Especially P0420 catalyst inefficiency.

But scan and drop the codes here then we can guide you also have you done a tune up?

I have this old model Sienna. Of recent when I shift to Drive, it takes some seconds before it will enter gear; sometimes up to 30 seconds. But once it moves, gear selection is fine.
What could be going wrong? This doesn't happen to Reverse gear.

Check transmission pan if its been hit inward, check ATF level if it's up to level, check transmission filter, if all these are fine, your clutch bands may have burnt or worn out.

Your top cylinder did the mechanic resurface it when they remove it or not?

Start by scanning the vehicle again then work with the codes given. Especially P0420 catalyst inefficiency.

The P0420 is showing because there is no catalyst.
It has the k24 engine.

The fuel economy on the dash suddenly drops from 19mpg average to 6.5mpg and black smoke starts.
