semid4lyfe:You see say the 33.3 added with the 16.6 no still reach the 66.6 bah? And some people are finding ways to blame Éric Chelle, lol. He's just trying to do what's best for the team and has made one or two mistakes in his starting XI, which is not his fault, but the players he trusted to start didn't deliver as expected, and he substituted them ASAP. He has learnt the hard way. A wise person doesn't make one mistake twice. Éric Chelle gave us a good squad depth, and he'll still bring in more good players, I know. |

BankyGee:Benin are in a good position. Sticky part for them is playing the SE in the final round of matches. Would prefer Benin qualifying to these unruly Southies. |

caprikon:I don’t even mind we selling that match to them by playing an home based team , A country playing 7 wcqs in their country to qualify for the World Cup sets a bad precedence moreso if those 3 points are not finally deducted. |

The ref for this South African march killed the game. Look at the push on Lookman. Omo ![]() |

femianski:this thing is funny because the reason their team is mostly home based is that they are not good enough to play in europe. Its not as they have players scattered in europe they refused to call. |

TheSuperNerd:it's not like you'll do anything better with this average eagles team yourselves. I mean, you struggle against the likes of Rwanda and Lesotho, what are the chances you'll beat Serbia or Denmark? |

Amedino99:Lol, who told you this? South Africa does have players in Europe, its just not a prerequisite to play for South Africa just because you play in Europe.. we have players in Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, etc..

QueenJazz:It's not a matter of getting a draw..its a matter of a getting a point thats getting us closer to the mandate of going to the world cup, and going to the world cup calls for a celebration, . the concept is simple enough. |

KingCold:International football is different from intercontinental football. West africsn teams and a few North african teams are better at playing European or South American teams. The only North African teams good outside the continental are morocco and Algeria. The rest of the North African teams falter outside Africa. Look, ghana can win the world cup and then loose to cameroon. Morocco that got to the world cup semi final cannot even win the nations cup. Recently we drew 1 1 with Russia in a friendly. Most southern African teams are not too good when competing outside the continent. Even Egypt don't make much of an impact globally. West African teams like Ghana, caneroon, ivory coast etc will do better in the world cup than South africa. |

Philosopher1979:Total BS.. when South Africa was ranked number 1 in Africa and 16th in the world , a lof of our players were playing in Europe.. how did they play in Euope then? Morocco will win the next Afcon edition btw |

KingCold:Let me try with this one and see if their sensitive mods won't dash me another longterm ban without insulting or offending anyone . They seem to be on a mission to make the forum a boring one 😴. I want to respond to those long epistles but I'm sure just like yesterday they'll keep on deleting my posts. I won't stop ![]() Anyways , they think we are celebrating a draw? . The whole plan and strategy is lost on these ones ....how many times have we drawn with them for us to want bag a draw with them as a win? . We are here to qualify for the world cup by all means possible and that one point was still better than them getting their needed 3 points from us. They are just sour because their chances have dwindled after that draw. They needed a win desperately so that they could get a step closer to reach the USA so that they could be sent packing early like all the other times they have attempted . ....or even better ...for the fans to get to the USA under the guise of going there to support the SE only to dissappear and never go back ![]() |

And that would have been fair. Just like other questionable decisions in South African teams favour would have been too and then the game would have had a diff and fair outcome. AndSunGorilla: |

KingCold:our team is mostly european based because that is where our players play . Your team is mostly home based because that is where you best players play. Stop acting as if you have good players that you didnt invite. We invited players from serie a , premier league, ligue 1 , turkey to make the team. List south african players in these leagues, 3 minimum for each league, you could have called up instead of mamelodi sundown players. In fact excluding your home based team, Do a starting line up of your team with players playing in europe and their teams lets see where your talents are playing in europe. Here is the same hugo broos crying that lyle foster, an europe based player would make his team stronger and he is here claiming we are too european based as though if given the same players playing top flight european football, he wont grab it with 20 arms

Lioness5280:She thinks we're celebrating a draw against " mighty Nigeria" whereas, we're just happy we're closer to qualifying.. we celebrated when we beat Lesotho didn't we? Anyways we beat Morocco twice last year, which is a much better team than Nigeria. |

mank1234:LMAO . I don't even know how to respond to this incoherent last cry of a dying horse .Zim ,Lesotho,Botswana, Namib and Mozambique all have no standard Fifa approved stadiums so they always choose to play their matches in South Africa rather than go to far away places where they will not have many fans. This is their decision not ours. If they so choose just like I hear Zim has done ,they can choose to play elsewhere but it has always made sense for them to play here as there are already millions of them here and those at home can drive or take a bus here without much costs. There's no Caf/ Fifa & SA conspiracy here ....you are just sour because your star-studded team failed to dominate a group of local champions...that's your real problem ![]() @ minfelix this is for you too |

Amedino99:Dude... i dont think you understood me, I'm saying we have players playing in Europe, enough to even form a starting 11 with, Shandre Campbell has been one of Club Brugge's best players . The fact that we even have the luxury to play players based home ahead of those in Europe points out to the strength of our league.. look at how a 19 year old inexperienced Mbokazi pocketed Lookman.. lol. So bragging of having players in the serie A but cant do the Job is pointless.. Hugo bross also didn't claim anything.. he merely said " you have players in those big leagues and we dont have many, but he didn't see that as a disadvantage " what's so triggering with the comment? |
