No Leadership Tussle In ADC – Party Spokesman, Abdullahi by Ofunaofu(op): 11:52pm On Sep 10, 2025
The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has said it is not aware of anyone being in court against it over the leadership tussle.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, stated this on Wednesday while responding to questions in an interview on Politics Today, a programme on Channels Television.

“We are not aware that anybody is in court against ADC. What we have is the completion of the administrative process of changing the leadership of the ADC.

“What we have found is that people hold press conferences and make claims as well as threats.

“But in the end, they know they can’t follow the hollowness of their standing,” he said.

DAILY POST reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Wednesday recognised the leadership of the ADC, with former Senate President David Mark as its National Chairman and former Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola as the National Secretary

Enough of the talks, abeg! The real question is, how can we trust you when it’s the same old politicians and recycled faces being reshuffled? These are the same people that put Nigeria in this mess. Who really did us this bad, 9ja? Gosh!
To be honest, what’s happening in Nigeria right now feels like a cycle we’ve seen too many times, rising prices, policy shifts without clear impact, and citizens left to carry the burden. It’s disheartening, but not surprising. What worries me most is how survival has become the daily focus, rather than growth or progress. I strongly believe Nigerians deserve better than “managing” through every storm. We need leadership that listens, policies that reflect reality on the ground, and a system that values people over politics. Until then, resilience alone won’t be enough.

Put your house in order. We want to defeat a formidable coalition/ opposition convincingly so that there won't be any noise of rigging in 2027

Bolaji Abdullahi, ADC's spokesperson on party's mission has said "We want a situation when people want a change they can look back and see our party as a viable alternative. ADC is one party that we are trying to build on the principle of egalitarianism."

What works are you doing, and what % of your time, talents and money are you putting in to match your strong beliefs about our country deserving better?

If you are not doing anything to make what you need manifest, then how are you not limited to resilience alone?

Meanwhile, the people in ADC are the ones who gave us 16 years of deregulation and privatisation prosperity in PDP, which eb1lokan and APC turned into shege fraudulently wrapped up in change robes.

“The worst illiterate is the political illiterate, he doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak, nor participates in the political events.

He doesn’t know the cost of life, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depends on political decisions. The political illiterate is so stupid that he is proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics.

The slowpoke doesn’t know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies.”

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.

He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.

He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth.

“But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty.

“If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.”
