A lot of you commenting on this thread will act surprised, while some will criticize the person who made the video. Others will throw political bants and call names.
The greatest thing Nigerian governmet lack is accountability. Corruption is as a result of not being accountable. How can you even demand accountability as a people when you are disunited?

Now to the state governor in Kebbi, he's quite aware of the deplorable condition of the general hospital. All he needs is the video showing the poultry house called hospital before he can do the right thing. Let us pretend he's not aware, what is his commissioner for health in the state doing? He must be in his office right now drinking fura.

Very anyhow set of humans to ever walk the surface of the earth angry

The government of Nigeria both federal, state and LG are weapons fashioned against Nigeria and its citizens.

We are the MAIN ARCHITECTS of Our Own Suffering.

The viral images of patients in Kebbi State sleeping on bare hospital beds, without mattresses, are not isolated incidents but stark symbols of a much deeper national crisis. They represent the pervasive decay of essential social amenities across Nigeria, particularly at the state and local government levels.

While it's easy to point fingers at faceless or unnamed leaders and distant institutions, a more uncomfortable truth emerges upon closer inspection: we, the people, are often the primary architects of our own suffering.

We are, in fact, our own biggest problem. The decline of public services, from impassable roads and poorly equipped hospitals to the neglect of basic infrastructure, is a direct consequence of a system we all, in some form, actively participate in. This is not about a remote, elite cabal operating in the shadows. It is about a widespread culture of complicity and fraud that permeates all levels of society.

Many of us, when given the opportunity, aid and abet the very corruption we condemn. We participate in the "money-packing" activities, enabling the siphoning of public funds that should have been used to equip a hospital or fix a local road. We accept favours, offer bribes, or look the other way when malfeasance benefits us or our relatives. This quiet, self-serving participation in fraud is a cancer that grows uncontrollably to situations like this one, hollowing out the very institutions designed to serve us.

It is thus very hypocritical to then cry out in outrage or compare our nation to the developed world when the consequences of our actions become public. When a scandal breaks, we act as if we were innocent bystanders, completely unaware of the rotten system we helped to "cook." This performative indignation is a smokescreen for our collective guilt.

True change will not come from external forces or new leadership alone. It must begin with a fundamental reorientation of our collective mindset. We must acknowledge our complicity and begin to hold ourselves, and each other, accountable. Until we dismantle this widespread culture of fraud and selfishness, where we prioritize personal gain over collective well-being, we will continue to be victims of our own making.

The deplorable state of our nation's social services is a mirror reflecting our own moral compromise.

The North ruled this Country for years, they had that opportunity to better the lives of their own people and Nigerians at large but they kept playing dirty politics up and down. See where Nigeria has landed us today.
Re: Terrible State Of Kangiwa General Hospital In Kebbi State (Video) by Tayorshd87(m): 11:34am On Sep 11, 2025
the state governor should be arrested and to give account of how the state of the hospital should be like this also to state the essence of the allocations he has been getting from the federal purse 🤔
Re: Terrible State Of Kangiwa General Hospital In Kebbi State (Video) by DIVINEEVIDENCE: 11:34am On Sep 11, 2025
The very shameless leaders who jet out to foreign hospitals for healthcare expect us to maintain the status quo when a whole general hospital is presented to be worse than a morgue in other nations.

During the COVID-19 epidemic, the whole of Nigeria barely had ventilators in its hospitals, so much that Donald Trump had to dash us ventilators at no cost.

When you look at how overseas nations value human life including that of alien nations and contrast it with the idiotic nonchalance of our leaders in upholding the sanctity of the life of their own citizens, you'll wonder whether Africans were sired by a fallen demon.

Tufiakwa upon Tufiakwa.

The evil generated in this country should be enough to earn us FDI. I don't know if I can ever be this evil, take part in it or be able to turn a blind eye ( if I worked in that hospital).

It seems futile to pray, especially when humongous evil besieges us on all corners.

I guess the elephant in room from that state that always bring news relating to the Land Of Equity to eardrum was caught unaware to the ills that goes on over there.

Kebbi and Jigawa states are almost if not bird of a feather.

E go long sha.

The citizens are not ready or blinded by religion, tribalism and love for their chains.

Look at Nepal and Indonesia in recent weeks shook their politicians and some had to resign.

If you talk, some so called "paytriots" and lovers of nigeria will call you names
